  • aawwwww

  • How did you manage all these tricks at such a young age. Great work enjoy.

  • the ultimate human companion

  • can u teach my cavalier doing these tricks too?

  • WOW, how did u get managed to teach him all this tricks sooo fast?? amazing!! u have some tips?? i wanna get a CKCS too

  • HOW DID YOU TEACH YOUR DOG TO PLAY DEAD WHEN YOU SAID BANG!

  • Your dog is definetly loads more obedient than my King Charles Spaniel.

  • This little guy is unbelievably smart!🐶

  • where did you get your dog?

  • I have a cavalier pup and he's NO where as calm as yours, lol. He's definitely a wild puppy. I try to teach him but it's hard to get him to settle down. He's 4 months old and isn't potty trained yet because this is my first time having a puppy, and I don't think I'm training him correctly. I'm thinking of taking him to classes. Do they work?

  • That dogs not even 4 months old??? I have a 12 week old pedigree that's not even half the size... Dnt buy it sorry

  • i have a cavalier too shes tri coloured and i got her when i was 10 so shes about 4 years old now and i do all the training. she does sit lie down roll over paw high five respect bang bang speak spin and loads more but how did you teach him to wave?

  • you are good! my 5 month old cavalier knows sit, stay, lay down, leave it, and to potty outside. I am not the dog trainer you are lol. He goes to puppy class though, he knows to behave.. but no cool tricks like yours. I should work on some other things with him. how did you get him to learn to roll over?

  • OK, *great* job training Jackson. I spent five months with my dog in obedience classes, and he learned most of the same things, but he's not that advanced. He's my first dog, and while I was motivated, I didn't have quite as much training finesse as you do. If this is your first dog, I'm going to shoot myself. Just kidding, but I'm considering a Cavalier as my next dog ... they're so loving. I've got a cute video on my page called Cosmo's Puppyhood.

  • aww so cute i have a king charles spaniel too but a girl she sits too when i tell her

  • Love this kinda dogs, gonna buy one soon....

  • @tove34 you totally should! I have one thats almost 7 months and hes AMAZING

  • @huskygirl111 I know, the Cavaliers are very friendly and types I will buy one that are room reindeer who is 3-4 months a girl

PS.Jag suck at writing English just so you know ....

  • He has an amazing repertoire for only 4 months!

  • how cute you should do a video how to teach one to do these tricks

  • He's so nice ! When we were waiting for our little Baïka, we watched your videos a lot ! And now, we can try too !!!!

  • All mine could is roll over and he's fat

  • I have a dog just like him same breed!

  • @Loolieabc same

  • Howw cute is he!!! I'd love to have a dog!

  • He is absoloutley gorgeous and so smart! Good work on training. I'm looking to buy this same dog soon. Do you have problems with a lot of shedding or barking a lot?

  • i just got a dog like him but i cant train him could you plz telll me how?

  • wow good training

  • Hey there ;) could you post some hints on how to train them like that ? I dont know how :( thanks...

  • I'm writing a book about CKCS.

Working title = "What you should know before you buy a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup",

If you have any helpful advice for new CKCS owners, eg: do this, don't do that, watch out for, be careful of, I wish someone had told me about ... That sort of thing.

If you have some tips to share, please put 'CKCS' in the subject line. Email to: brianmorris@nzibs.co.nz Much obliged. Named or anonymous are both welcome.

  • a cute King charles spaniel !! He is very very cute !!

  • great job training Jackson! he is so cute! i love king charles cavaliers!

  • A little cute talented dog. i have a cavalier to, she is 2 years. she can´t do half of the tricks :D Well done :)

  • @MrKallivas Ha mine is only 3 1/2 months, and he can only manage to sit... LOL! I'm not sure how to make him do all those other tricks, maybe I should get a training book or something... What I want to know is how to train him how to stay (that's nearly impossible for my boy)...

  • that is one hell of a smart dog you must be a great trainer :)

  • i have a cavalier just 10 monthes and she cant do that.could you inbox me how to train her please x

  • que fofo mas ele nao deve ter mais ou menos 4 meses a mancha dele esta muito forte

  • Aww! Reminds me of my dog! I have a cavalier king Charles spaniel :) he can do most of those tricks but he can't quite get the hand shaking down haha great dogs, setting aside there short life span :(

  • @fuzztg Is that true . . . about them having a short life span?

  • @cyberkitty7 my one is 11 years old and shows no signs of getting old. he still runs around and stuff. hes a great dog

  • @cyberkitty7 Yes they do have a short life spans i think they have the shortest life span over any other dog exept maybe one breed, not sure. My neighbor had 2 Cavalier King Charles' and one just died at the age of 8 or 7 and the other is like 7 and shes not doing well at all. But mine is doing great, hes almost 5 but he still acts like a puppy. In their breed they have a lot of medical issues, is the reason they have such a short life span.

  • really good

  • jackson is adorable!!

  • Jakson is the image of our Timmy, except Timmy has a round brown patch on the top of his head, over a year old, tried everything i did with other dogs i had but to no avail, sit, lie, paw is about it. Timmy has allied himself to my young son who hasn,t got the patience it'shim the dog wants to please not me, im alpha so he just moves when i say. He will only sit by me when i am the last in the house :-(

  • what a smart little man! and so darn irresistable!

  • I have a four year old King Charles Cavalier, but im not sure how to train her, she went to puppy school and learned some thing, but now she's forgot most of them, and she doesn't really listen to me, i love playing with her and she loves playing with me but i want to train her to play fetch, that sort of thing, i gave her a ball, she ignored it and left, what do i do to teach her to play fetch?

  • @TrailerPro98 a dog forgets his tricks ONLY WHEN THE LEADER = You.... dont train anymore , and not the dog...

lol its easy to blame the dog but dont forget evry reason starts with the person himself = leader

maybe u need to buy another toy , couse dogs that ignores his toy = he dont want it anymore OR The leader doesnt want to play with him

But i got a really good tip for this... tell u in next message..

  • @TrailerPro98 if he ignores the ball u most take the ball from him evry time , so that means take the ball and throw it away (not to far) evry time he wants to take it u take it first from him so he dont get that ball , REALLY RUN WITH THE BALL AND MAKE HIM CRAZY SO HES ALL ATTENTION TO U... after a while that dog is gonna scream GIMME THE GOD DAMN BALL :)

only train like 15min each day , and after evry training session u reward him with playing his toy

  • @TrailerPro98 Take her back to school. It's too hard to do on your own.

  • funny :D I have a Blenheim too and he can do the same tricks :) Nice greetings from Germany

  • Wow! I felt proud about getting my cav to just learn "sit" at 3 months old (and it took A LOT of training). This is impressive!!

  • So adorable!! I'm going to get one at the end of next month :)

  • Good boy

  • He's a genius for his age! I've got a 4 year old king charles and due to excessive cuddling and feeding I'm afraid there wont be a chance in him learning anytime soon :/ haha

  • Im trying to teach my cavalier Riley how to beg and rollover ut I'm not sure how to start. Can you please give me some advice on how to teach him those tricks?

    Thanks

    Very cute cavalier btw. x

  • SOOOOO SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTT <3<3<3<3

  • Love this video. do you still have Jackson?

  • IVE GOT A DOG LIKE THAT!!!! exept ours is a girl

  • absolutely "GOOD BOY" :)

  • Jackson is soooo talented, do you have any recent footage of him??

  • Did u learn him the tricks by urself?

  • WOW! you did such an awesome job training your pup. i have to CKCS and all they know is still and paw so Congrats! :D maybe you could teach me how you did it! :D

  • I have a 4 month cavalier and i am training him. Do you have any advice on how to teach him tricks like Jackson does. Also what dog treats do you use?

  • OMG! TOO CUTE! this may be THE CUTEST puppy on YouTube I've seen YET!!!!

  • i luved the vids! i have the same dog and a rusty brown one and a black and brown one!!!! could you tell me how to do the tricks?

  • cuuteee

  • good+cute=Cavalier :p

  • ahh hess soo smartt ♥

  • Great video. Your Jackson certainly has learned a lot for such a young age. It's been a year, could you update us on how he has matured into adulthood?

  • @cavalierlover100 He's doing great. Thanks. Check out his video of him playing with our then-ten-month-old daughter. That was taken this past December.

  • @PampurredBoogieBlues your dog is verry smart now i get 1 king charles spaniel 2 mouths old i can teach him or is to young ?

  • @cavalierlover100 how did u get Jackson to play dead and roll, i could never get my dog to do that, lol

  • extremley cute! :)

  • i have a cavalier she is lovely, please watch my videos of her doing her tricks :)

  • mine is 4 months old too but looks a little smaller..;s

  • I'm getting an 8 week old tri-colour Cavalier on July 27th...She's a girl and I'm calling her Cassie...I'm going to teach her to do all these tricks... Thanks for sharing this video!!! :)

  • I just hoipe your using positive training,

or else this puppy could have been worked too hard.

I admit, these tricks are impressive, but never NEVER get mad at him for doing the wrong trick or he will end up unhappy

  • I'm getting a tri-color Cavalier soon, possibly. Your dog is cute. Love the play dead trick. Going to teach my dog that for sure.

  • i wish Charlie could do tricks. playing dead is really cute!

  • LOL this is like deja vu with me playing Nintendogs.....

  • This Dog is a..........GOOOD BOYY!!!!!

  • Amazing! Love Cavs and have our second rescue one at my feet as I type!

  • I really want 1 of those puppy's my fam saw 1 yesterday at the mall we really wuz about 2 get it best dogs ever!

  • @fashionista4533 I have a cavalier and they are the best but please do NOT get your dog from a dog store of any kind. Especially cavaliers. Think long before even deciding to get one because most end up getting a heart condition that is very expensive to treat and most cavaliers end up with a heart murmur by age 8. Dogs from pet stores are not bread well and they end up getting these murmurs by age 1-3, along with many other health problems. they are from Puppy Mills

  • @rachezee WOW! the people at the mall didn't tell us about the heart problems i only wanted 1 because they are adorable! did your dog have a heart problem? and do they die? i never heard of those heart diseases or puppy mills

  • @fashionista4533 the people at malls or puppy stores never tell about the heart problems and they always deny they are from puppy mills but no decent breeder would ever let a puppy store sell their dogs. I can't post a website here but do a google search for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club. They have an excellent breeder list. My cavalier Chloe is only 5 and from an excellent breeder. No heart problems yet. She is wonderful.

  • @rachezee OK and so u got your dog from someone else? P.S Chloe is a great name!

  • Do you mean to say that you would adopt a dog, a creature that needs lots of care, out of a MALL???? Because it was cute??

    1. this dog is a LOT more prone to heart disease, hip displasia, and lots of those things... So I think you should take really good care of this dog.

    2. Cuteness isn't the only factor of caring for dogs. Do you have the responsibility, the time, the effort for ANY of this???

    3. I hope this dog is happy...

  • @flyagents3 umm... i wasnt talking 2 u so bye! and i didnt even by the dog smarts

  • thats so cute :)

  • My doggies can't do tricks and barely come when I call them. But I rescued them from the pound, where they were dumped because they were unwanted. Just like the four million doggies that are put to death each year because they have no home. Meanwhile, people buy expensive puppies from breeders so they can teach them to play dead...vs. four million per year the really ARE dead.

  • what is the treat?

  • i think i just fell in love. this puppy is toooooooooooooo cute!

  • i luv ur dog he is so cute i hav one just lyk him nd he can sit lie down give the paw nd high five he's older now nd i just cant seem to train him ny new tricks have you ny tips for me?

  • i hava a king cavalier king charles too i learned everything but rollover :) my dog doesnt like to wait like yours :) as soon as he sees the treat in my hand he just wanna jump and get it :)

    you trained him well

    congrats.. !

  • I'm getting a Cavalier puppy in a couple of months time...I used to have one called Lucy who died in her sleep, curled up in a ball in a chair...We really didn't expect her to die so suddenly because she seemed perfectly healthy..

  • This is adorable, i have a dog just like tht !! ♥

  • Amazing how did you teach him? I have a 10.5 month old female cavalier and she barley knows how to sit. It would be great if you posted some tips.

  • Probably the most loving breed of all. ~~~ The only thing my little one growls at, is the T.V. She just wants to snore and snore! ♥

  • @sentimentaloldme Golden retrievers came at the top of the official list of affectionative/loving/friendliest dogs. cavaliers came at number 6 witch is pretty cool :D

  • its really smart!

  • thats such a good cavalier :) my puppy is 8 month old and wont even sit....when i give her a treat she jumps up for it .....:)

  • @Megan4JustinBieber my cavalier knows sit and come and thats just about it! :) If they don't respond properly its probably because they mostly like to have there own way, and rarely due to a serious brain problem witch they develop later in life :( k.c spaniels minds work quite differently from other dogs, they sell a whole bunch of books all about how to understand your cavalier. If you wan't you should try reading up some :D

  • good boy!

  • My friend's dog, same breed, knows "Sing, Jump, Dance, and Bang"!

  • such a smart dog breed

  • @nellbell121 They sure am. I trained mine to potty trained after 3 days!!!!!! Unbelievable

  • @nellbell121 Ha, depends if you're a first time owner or not. Regardless if I can or can't fully train my pup, he loves the shit out of anybody who gives him attention. That's enough for me.

  • So adorable !!!

  • PampurredBoogieBlues this vid is the *, that's why I watch NBA even though it has its issues. I am doing this training program that's used by NBA players - (50 inch vertical [dot] com) - already I'm jumping better and leading my team on the court!

Jackson the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Doing Tricks (almost 4 months old)

  • Love this video !

  • Wow - how impressive!

  • Comment removed

  • he is very handsome and cute and all above talented

  • my cavalier looks just him with the same name and everything:)

  • thats cool

  • that looks exactly the same as my vid

  • 4 months!!!!!!!!! hat dog is so well trained! omg! either one incredibly snart dog or an awesome trainer!

  • I have got a blenhiem called sadie. They are the best dogs ever. She is only one and sooooooooooooooo cute. I have quite a few videos of her if you want to watch :)

  • Wow, my Cavalier is 9 months and she barely knows 'paw'

  • He's so cute. My CKCS is named Kira and she does all those, minus rollover, she's just too lazy. Try the "circle" command for him to spin around and "go around" for walking around your legs. That's really handy when they go one way around a pole and you go the other while leash-walking. My dog learned them in 5 minutes. Smart dogs.

  • He is REALLY well trained :), good job. I'm hopefully getting a cavalier soon, yours is really cute n_n

  • Jackson looks like my first Cavalier, Chester as a pup, all legs :p. He's adorable. Maybe you can come to my place and help my new pup Ruby out, she's 1 year old, and about all she can do is.. well, Ive posted a video response for you to see :-)

  • i have a cavalier and hes black and tan and hes is also only 4 months old and he can do all of these tricks aswell lol hes so so so cute when ther young ther faces are so flabby n they look at you so cute sumtimes lol ^.^

  • So cute! I have a Jackson too, hes a yorkie, I added a video :)

  • I'm so jelous!! He does really well for 4 months

  • I wish i had a dog that cute

  • Oih! This makes my Cavalier look pretty bad...

  • that is so good for only being 4months!

he is SO cute too!! =)

  • ''yeh yeh, i know the routine, just keep the treats coming:P''

  • Well, Jackson sure gets a lot of treats out of doing all those tricks! HA!

  • Golden Retrievers are ridiculously easy to train...I wouldn't be bragging about that.

Nice job training Jackson. He's adorable.

  • I left that in response to hockeyman8's negative comment.

    GO JACKSON!

  • Shows how powerful positive reinforcement is. Great job Jackson and his human!

  • Nice to find a person who has time to spend with thier pet.

Great job, looking forward to more Jackson videos. Keep us posted.

  • I want to note that we are not in any way affiliated with any websites that have linked to this video as a purported "success story." That is simply deceptive advertising as we have not used the products promoted by such websites.

  • Hello. We are the proud owners of Jackson and this video. Thank you all for your kind words. To respond to the question many of you had, we trained Jackson ourselves and with the help of a wonderful dog trainer with whom we had a few one-on-one sessions. We used food lures and positive reinforcement only. We also used some clicker training. (Google can point you to some websites explaining all of this in more detail -- but rest assured, there is no magic to it; it just takes patience.)

  • @PampurredBoogieBlues how old is he in this video?
