And the highlight is around the middle of this we also have our own Dec Solstice on Dec 2012. while the Sun is in the middle of her alignment. These alignments are a great way to measure long periods of time, but are completely meaningless from any otehr view point than Earth. ie no doomsday here.

Whether there will be catastrophe remains to be seen, but it is best to not be skeptical and be ready for anything until that date. And THAT is no rocket science.
