Puppetry, puberty, perversity, pleurisy & plutocracy plague the populace, oh yeah!!! A common sight: We've all, in our mindless perambulations, seen wealthy people en route to the bank doubled over in convulsive fits of laughter. Bank-trips spawn hilarity.
MY NEIGHBOR STEPHEN KOTARBA—One future: My wife is killed in an avalanche. I marry her 18-yr.-old niece. My elderly neighbor Stephen Kotarba craps out on the toilet. My new wife bears identical twin sons whom I name Stephen & Kotarba. As the years go by one son resents me for the derision that his name invites. “Why can't I be named like my brother?” He demands to know. “You're crazy,” I say. “Who ever heard of naming 2 sons Kotarba?”
Preaching against the men and women that protect your lively hood is just hate speech without proposing change. God bless the cops and their personal sacrifice for our safety. If you want to effect change in your local law enforcement and you have the courage, join up and help protect these rights that you are so vigorously exercising in this video.
@Kanthor420 i am trying to figure out what this means. "join the police, and change their corrupt practices as a fellow corrupt employee;" is this what you mean?
@Got50 do as your toldl eat this put this on drive this car stay in this lane don't watch this ignore what i'm doing go in this city stay in your place watch me kill this man kill this man.
M.S.N.B.C. & "The Huffington Post" report that 117 cops were killed in-the-line- of-duty in 2009 and 160 in 2010. More of them were slain in any single year of the 1920's. When will the U.S. Congress enact a citizen gun-ban that criminals will respect? Taking the guns from citizens will teach the crooks and rapists to watch out.
@ThePregnancySlaves Yeah! Then only criminals will have guns! Then how will you protect yourself from them? Call 911 and hope the cops arrive before you bleed to death?
@ThePregnancySlaves So you're cool with getting shot dead by a burglar or rapist who has nothing to fear? That's fine by me, go do it now so I can live in America as our forefathers envisioned it, where the gun that protects my family is LEGAL.
If you really believe gun control works, why does London have the highest violent crime rate in the world? Here's a hint: when guns are outlawed, only outlaws have guns. Get educated, stop being cattle.
@ThePregnancySlaves Literacy? Is that how you avoid the truth - by pretending you can't read it? Guess I'm done here, then - if you have to block out facts to keep living your delusion, there's nothing I can do for you.
If the 1920's taught us anything, it's that making something illegal won't stop crooks from getting it. Good luck then, when crooks get judged by 12 and YOU get carried out by 6, because crooks will have nothing left to fear from our defenseless selves.
@ThePregnancySlaves If you're going to make that claim, you should really learn to delete your comments so it'd look believable. "When will the U.S. Congress enact a citizen gun-ban that criminals will respect? Taking the guns from citizens will teach the crooks and rapists to watch out." Or is your English worse than when you wrote that 5 months ago?
"One may come to the aid of another being unlawfully arrested, just as he may where one is being assaulted, molested, raped or kidnapped. Thus it is not an offense to liberate one from the unlawful custody of an officer, even though he may have submitted to such custody, without resistance." (Adams v. State, 121 Ga. 16, 48 S.E. 910).
I believe police brutality is brought on by stress few to many high stress calls. The cops just snap.
Our governments fail to provide out lets (therapy) for the stress that builds up day after day on that type of job. The cops need strength training every day. A martial arts training every other day and book training every day. Training on when to react and when not to, every other day.
When ordered to move move. When arrested you can walk yourself to the car/van or be dragged. Obey the law and everything is fine. These people deserved what they got. Act a fool be treated like a fool.
You need to protest this shit as often as possible. Start bringing your own homemade pepper sprays and shit. When this police brutality shit starts do exactly to them what they been doing to everyone else, pepper their fucking asses then get the people out of their that they are trying to kidnap. It is far past due that we start taking matters into our own hands. Stop waiting for things to change. You have to change them. When the police are fearing the public then this kind of bullshit will stp
And to these people saying that people are hypocrits for calling 911. Well hey maybe thats why so many of our citizens either fear or just dont rely on calling 911. this is bad because it makes a danger for our communitys because citizens will take justice in there own hands!
these people are idiots! try being a police officer for 1 day... it's one of the most difficult / dangerous jobs - especially in a major city like seattle. many of these same people who were arrested have no problem calling 911 when they are in trouble. they are hypocrites and imbeciles! police officers put their lives on the line every day, these "protester" need to get a life...
@archman81 No, you're an idiot. What this video fails to show is excessive force that was used by officers leading up to the arrests, and the actual innocence of those arrested. The "danger" of police work does not give them a license to go above the law. That's just stupid. In fact, that makes them criminals as well. And not just petty theft, drug possession criminals -- violent, aggravated assault criminals. Felony criminals. YOU need to get a life, or at least take a civics class.
I have participated in numerous police brutality protests, and have witnessed, and been the victim of police brutality. It is a major problem in this country, and I support most any effort to combat and shed a public light upon it.
That said, protester tactics at these kinds of events needs to change. It hurts the cause. If you believe you have a legitimate gripe with the police, and they attempt to wrongfully arrest protesters, you have two options: accept the arrrest or fight back.
(con't) What is ridiculous is nonviolently resisting arrest, and then screaming and crying when they force your arms back to cuff them, or dragging you to the paddywagon because you won't walk. It comes across as childish whining, which people will associate with the protest itself. The cliche chants, such as "Shame on you," come across the same way. If you want people to identify, and want them to focus on the protest's message (instead of arrests), behave with a little more dignity.
(con't) If you get arrested, hold your head up high as you're marched to the paddywagon, don't make them drag you (which looks like a child being dragged away when having a temper tantrum). Or fight back, accepting that this means you might get hurt. But don't just lie there, refusing to get up or put your hands behind your back, and then whine/chant when they force your arms or drag you.
What happens is that people who aren't familiar with protesting see these videos, and say, "Oh, so THIS is what they're calling police brutality?" and they associate police brutality with protesters whining about being cuffed instead of poor, unarmed minorities being shot in the back or beaten to a bloody pulp.
Not to mention, the melodramatic arrests of self-aggrandizing protesters overshadow the REAL instances of police brutality which are the message of the protest.
(con') To sum up, tactics need to change. Fighting back says, "Hey, we're not taking this anymore, and will resist by any means necessary." Allowing an arrest to occur while holding your head high says, "You may throw me in a cage, but you can't take my dignity." But the behavior in incidents like this video says, "I do things which I know will get me arrested, but then throw a childish temper tantrum when it happens.
Nice people cause many series of eventful misadventures. World War Second was consensual as all the Jap islands were involved.

Calling this "brutalization" belittles the actual brutalization which victims of police brutality suffer on a daily basis.
