  • Good video

  • I have telephone interview with a multinat, who despite strong recent performance posted a loss in 3rd qtr of this year. I am a little hesitant to mention the source where I found the positives as they may also have published the negatives. Is it ever prudent to passively mention a less than stellar event in the company's history if you can make it relevant to something more positive?

    Thanks!

  • omg it would be so much easier for me to take you serious if it wasnt for kungfu action grip eyebrow deal you got going on

  • so basically, stalk them and their company :P

    All jokes aside, good advice.

  • Can you just stick on the answers on above question more specifically !!!!

watch this.. that .. bla bla ,.,bla................ i need for specific.

The e.g you gave i think looks more weighty but they might persive as you have byheart.

  • It seems to me that he is describing more about what do you know about this company vs. why do you want to work here.

  • @Saywhatyoumust He shows that he did research about the company, which implies why he really wants to work there.

  • Thanks to you and your team. This will surely produce an unlimited stream of happy Job Seekers. Really professional.

  • What if the company that I interview does not have website?

  • The key is to show up to the interview after having several cocktails. The hiring manager will think you are cool if your breath smells like booze and you slur your demands. You should also interview with sunglasses on so the hiring manager can look at themself while speaking to you. If they ask you why you want the job, shrug your shoulders and say "adildosayswhat"? silent farts are also a good idea.

  • I have an interview tomorrow in a big company for an internship position

  • Dear Mr. Heaney, how do we approach corporate giants, specifically Microsoft? They have a long history, and a million products. Can you suggest a central focus for that? Thank you so much.

  • @genkisudo the key to approaching a large company is to try to find out the name of the person making hiring decisions and find some way to connect to that person. Going through HR is difficult and frequently unproductive. You need to reach the decision maker directly. That's the value of LinkedIn since it shows how you can connect through your network to a single person you want to meet. Good luck.

  • Your insight is great - I for one would really appreciate some EXTENDED videos about interview process and other similar advice.

  • Good video - would be more effective if you looked at the camera and not the off-video (I'm guessing you are looking at the video as you record it. (or are you reading a script)?

  • You look tired here. And not as much enthusiasm as the last videos. Is it 4 am?

Better than most on here though! Good job!
