  • Thank you very much Manjula Madam, my girl friend is Spanish and she made a perfect Allo paratha with the help of this video! God Bless you,

    Namaste

  • help! my atta is tearing when I roll out my parathas. I think its because I'm using laxmi chapati flour....

  • @paulvideo05

Dough should be soft and knead well.

  • @paulvideo05 -- roll them with the right pressure and toss them in a plate of flour after every few rolls before you get the perfect shape

  • @paulvideo05 Add a tsp of ghee when you need the atta. It should be firm. knead well.. which means knead for longer than you usually would. I prefer kneading with hand. Cover the atta which a wet cheese/muslin cloth. Let it rest for 30-60 minutes before rolling. Also, make sure there are no lumps in your filling.

  • I really like your video aunty..Thnx..

  • Very good instructions Manjula

    Thanks

    Sudha

  • Thanks for sharing. Looks lovely. I'll try it, tonight.

  • Hi manjula Aunty, when you use a food processor for mixing chappathi dough,i should use the chopping mode or the grinding mode?or do you do it by taking the blades out? Please advice.

  • Hi Auntie: Wonderful recipe! Some people are good at cooking, Some people are good at teaching. Very few people, like you, can do both very well. Question for you. I noticed you used a food processor for the dough. Will I get the same results if I use your recipe for roti (using my hand) for aloo parathas?

  • @tonytony24

Yes I just wanted to show tat this is also a option, you can do the dough just like roti.
