Man, u are so lucky that u have a piano and your parents let you learn music. I can`t buy a piano or even learn because my mom have no money...a piano is too expensive, so a violin. I also told her about this and she said "with music you die of hunger".
The only art that i can practice is poetry...be happy about ur life, someone people in this world will not even press a flap on a piano, will die with their living still dream.
@AdriaFloriDeSoc Though my parents wanted me to play the piano at first, they didn't want that I do it professionally. They also said that I couldn't earn enough money with that. But I think it's an illusion and as I am so passionate about my music, I will surely find some ways to feed myself. So, now I am studying music with the major subject piano at conservatory for becoming a piano teacher. Let's just see what the future will bring more. People should do what their hearts tell them to do.
@AdriaFloriDeSoc I don't know if I will be famous. It's also not my aim. But if it happens, then it'll be fine. But more important for me is my relationship to the music. By the way, where do you come from and what's your name?
I like the program Audacity for removing noise from recordings. My process is to take a video, strip the audio from it with Sony Sound Forge, then apply noise removal from audacity. I then encode it as a wave file and sync it back with the original video. Works great if you have a noise problem, a heater, a fan, or anything like that.
Funny thing is I just bought a Steinway piano synthesizer that has an option for creating mechanical noise like the pedal to make it sound more realistic.
I have been trying to learn 1 and 2 for the past few months, and am going to start 3. I do it all by ear though, since I cant read music, so could you tellme which of the three was the most difficult to learn?
Some of the chords in the 2nd have been absolute bitches to learn
You should start learning how to read music. Being musically literate has every benefit to the musician. It's a necessity. Being a good musician by ear is an exception not the rule. I hope all the best for you.
It is nr.3. Satie often didn't note bar lines but the note values in the left hand which repeat themselves through the whole piece make it obvious that it is written in three quarter time.
Du spielst dieses Stück sehr gefühlvoll und schön. Wenn man Gould beim Spielen immer summen hört, dann stört mich auch nicht, dass man Dein Pedal hört...Also, kein Problem!
Music never ages.

Brings tears to one's eyes... such sublime poetry in Satie's gymnopédies.
Great work, mate!

What kind of recorder are you using? I think I'm getting the sound of the tape or the sound of electronics, or possibly both.
With playing the piano, you should get yourself an inexpensive recorder. Check out the Edirol R-09HR.

Are you sure this is no. 3? The right hand sounds really different. In my music there are no barlines so I guess it could be played differently.
