Nowadays, jump isn't the jump from "Patrick Jumpen"... you have the tekstyle in France and Belgium or the hardjump in Belgium and Holland (like dr. rude, demoniak, fenix,...) the other popular styles are still hardstyle and hardcore... but jump like "Holiday" is so boring and anoying these days for the lovers....
i guess you don't even know the differences between all these kinds of harder styles... that's my point... the harddance scene in America isn't comparable with the one in Europe... I love Patrick and what he's done for jumpstyle, but he didn't give much credit to Captain Ahab (an American group) and Scooter, who dedicated an entire album, tour, and dance team to spreading jumpstyle across the world. There are many other DJs and producers I could name off, but overall, my point stands: jumpstyle didn't just start with him, and he wasn't the only one heavily involved.

The "founder" of Jumpstyle ? maybe he is but in the jumpstyle scene the ppl dont like his music. We listen to NC, dbstf, heady etc... His music is ok i listened to it at the beginning of my Jumpstyle career ^^

This is how I feel about Jumpstyle......I live it. PJ is a genius. IDGAF who says i suck, I stand by this style forever. I jump at the mall, my yard, down the street...EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!! I too am a huge fan of you Patrick! i think we have to many hardstylers here. i personally think its over rated. everybody thinks shuffling is cool and not nearly as cool as jumping. i honestly think jumping takes much more stamina and skill. they make real jumpstyle tracks. with a hard bassdrum and GOOD melodies.

I love Patrick and what he's done for jumpstyle, but he didn't give much credit to Captain Ahab (an American group) and Scooter, who dedicated an entire album, tour, and dance team to spreading jumpstyle across the world. There are many other DJs and producers I could name off, but overall, my point stands: jumpstyle didn't just start with him, and he wasn't the only one heavily involved.

This is useless. Jump evolved, but it's an interterview. That's about Patricks idea about jumpstyle, not what you think. ofcourse you can tell your opinion, but if you want to hate, get lost. Jump is something we do together. It's a style, and a style is for everybody different. And much people does know the difference between oldschool jump, hardjump, owstyle, freestyle etc... But that doesn't matter, it's about we're all doing the same thing we love. To jump.
