  • wow, that does not look very good at all.

  • copied it off of ITKman so what? People like you guys are the ones making all these copyright laws and bs hard to do anything. Some body makes a dumb songs and some record companies is harassing you just for putting it as a soundtrack in Youtube, or flashing their movie.

  • hahahah that recipe looks exactly like ITKman

  • Oh my god. I can't believe this guy copied Itkman's recipe. What a looser. If u want attention, join broadway u certainly have the moaning down.

  • at the end it sounds like your having sex

  • Never tasted it before, but it tastes A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

  • The Itkman's tso chicken looks more jammie. But nice rip off. ;-)

  • @paraglide01 SO DID ITKMAN MAKE UP THE KING TSO RECIPE? EVEN THOUGH THE RECIPE IS 100s OF YEARS OLD, ANYBODY WHO MAKES KING TSO CHICKEN IS RIPPING OFF ITKMAN? HMMM THAT MEANS ITKMAN MUST BE 600 YEARS OLD.

  • @soundbeans Calm down, what this guy your boyfriend or something man... the way you defending him makes me wonder. Oh yeah like I said its a total rip off itkman's recipe. Its a shame some people just cant handle the internet.. angry nuts balls like your self just cant seem to stay civil... just have to blow everyone off over the internet because you have some kinda inferior complex that causes you to not to do it irl.Don't try to message me or respond I aint reading it.Dont do drama

  • Oh general tso's chicken if loving you is wrong I don't want to be right

  • ewwwwwwwww.

  • Th recipe not completely copied from Itman, Itman uses chopsticks to roll the chicken trough the flour, robjnixon uses his fingers, this might give a completely different tast

  • Wrong general buddy 0.o lol (just kidding)

  • i love hearing a fat dude chew with his mouth open and make nasty noises, your sauce was way to thin, but thats what you get for adding water to the corstarch

  • @robjnixon would be helpful if you didn't cut up the shots of you pouring ingredients so quickly, so i could get a sense of how much you generally put in of each ingredient

  • I had it my local Chinese restaurant and it was awesome.....it was spicy and really sweet almost like candy lol

  • NICKO!!! i love this chicken an i wanted the recipe for tha longest while! i think i love u dude! jk

  • Nicko stole this recipe from user "itkman"

If you want good, authentic Asian-American cooking, go to his channel, not Nicko's. That guy is a master.

  • @TheImpromptuChef WTF YOU PIEC OF SHIT

  • WOW. Copying Kai huh? F*** YOU GUY!

  • You need more corn starch

  • Strange but the hoi sin sauce was red. I have ever only seen dark brown hoi sin sauce. Also if you eat this dish anywhere in America it will be spicey and have chilli,s in it?

  • Nice baby spoon.. :)

  • FOODGASM

  • this guy tried to copy Itkman and he failed

  • this is the most inauthentic general tso's chicken i have ever seen! garlic? wtf are u thinking?!

  • DICED!

  • not a bad job, but chew away from the microphone. totally halted my appetite.

  • You fail at copying Kai . Thicken the sauce.

  • Sorry my bro's friend got on my account

  • @doom3lv go die in a hole with terrible poisons that choke you slowly to death you fat greasy bastard

  • The sauce is still too thin

  • Oh wow, you did copy itkman's recipe exact. That's disappointing.

  • @Dobsessed No he didnt..??

  • @Dobsessed lol...noticed that too....guess he doesn't do research....just another wanna be you tube cook...

  • @Dobsessed actually his recipe has different amounts of like everything!!!!!

  • @Dobsessed stfu...

  • lol y use clean hands on something u r going to cook?

  • Colonel Sanders meat your chicken souperior

  • Congratulation, you just copied itkman's (2008) video recipe to show your fat face on youtube.

PS. the last step is to stir fry, not to boil everything and make the chicken soft again. shouldn't have added water in sauce mixture...the only part your didn't copy exactly and got it wrong. ill be sure to by a Nicko's t-shirt though, does it only come in your size? i need 10 sizes smaller.

  • @migg2929 What a fuckin bastard you are.

  • @doom3lv keep ur mouth shut. U fat fucking jiggling jelly ass lover.

  • @migg2929 is that an insult? jelly ass lover? i do love jelly ass. just like the one that your mom has! zing!

  • @migg2929 you stupid piece of shit... did itkman invent the king tso recipe? why don't you go and cook king tso recipe, and then you can stick it all in your ass hole. thanks

  • what can u replace hoi sin sauce with ?

  • @islam281994 you can replace it with deep friend human feces.

  • 1:23

"Niggas, I've just baked a couple of eggs up..."

  • god those orgasm sounds are funny ahah XD

  • Can the corn flour be replaced with regular flour or corn meal? And can the spring onions be replaced with green onions? Thanks so much

  • Amazing!! It's just so good! Haha

  • Comment removed

  • my sister just send this to me to try as her family had it last night said awesome

  • Just made the dish exactly the way in the video. Absolutely delicious.

  • Nikki your a god. Asian dishes are always great. Try a Japanese dish called yaki soba. It's a noodle dish that includes chicken, broccoli, onions, bean sprouts, carrots, egg, and I've even seen some bamboo shutes tossed in. I would love to get a working recipe for that!

  • Should never add the crispy chicken to the soup. Instead treat the soup like some kind of alfredo sauce and pour it over the chicken nuggets before serving.

In this way, the chicken will stay crispy and the soup enhanced the flavour further. Alternately, if you prefer a kind of a 'thicker' version of the soup, add tomato purees to it.

  • Do you have a vid on veggie burgers?

  • Do you have any idea how to cook General Tso's chicken? You don't use white vinegar for General Tso's chicken. You use rice vinegar. You also forgot the red pepper, not to mention you pour the sauce over the chicken so that your chicken stays crunchy.

  • no chili pepper?

  • is it like panda express

  • omg, looks so good! can you make like, egg rolls too?

  • Make gryos

  • Hey nico, made this today but the sauce was more brownish and didn't taste just like it was supposed to 2, i switched out garlic to onion, is that the problem?

  • @hokkypro my hou sin souce was black instead of redish btw.

  • This is just like sweet and sour pork without the sour tingle. And isn't this suppose to be a lil spicy?

  • He needs to show exact measurements:(

  • Did you completely copy another guy's video???

  • you re getting fatter....

  • the sauce didnt thicken up..he should have used more cornstarch

  • While I like these videos, and cooking videos in general, i find it a bit weird that they eat it in the end and go 'mmmm oh yeaaa mmmmm'

Its not like we expect 'yuck fuck that shit tastes like barf'. Its all a tad unnecessary.

  • @sourav777 indeed.

  • THUMBS DOWN THIS VIDEO SHOULD BE POSTED UNDER EXPERT VILLAGE.

  • 3 minutes isnt nearly long enough, enjoy the food poisoning from undercooked chicken. Tai reccommends 15-20 minutes, you can see his videos on youtube as well and he is authentic chinese not a guido looking brit.

  • @cymaddux31 #1 look at the description for measurements #2 did you even watch this? you try deepfrying chicken that size for 15 minutes. If Tai does then i'm sorry, if you're trying to get him recognized as a chef you just failed. No good chef would deep fry chicken that small for 15 minutes. #3 he's australian not british.

that being said gotta agree with tang. not general tso since there's nothing really spicy but it looks good. @robjnixon props for exploring chinese cuisine

  • @chocho12321

Tai's videos are much better, this guy doesn't hold a candle to him.

  • @cymaddux31 If he's a professional cook they probably are. This guy doesn't do anything amazing. That being said, he uses cheap products and their extremely simple and easy to follow for people who just want to move their cooking up a notch.

I started cooking more because of nicko. I don't really watch any of his stuff anymore because its just not where I want my cooking to be anymore but what he does with what he has is amazing.

  • @chocho12321

Cook chicken for 3 minutes, professional cook my ass.

  • @chocho12321

Funny, you even actually try 10 minutes? 10 minutes worked perfectly for me. I would suggest that you don't put all your eggs in the basket of an Australian Guy cooking chinese food, obviously the Chinese guy knows better.

  • @cymaddux31 I didn't because it would be overcooked. I havn't tried this recipe but i have made popcorn chicken before. Which cooking it would be using about the same amount of time. 10 mins will be overcooked.

Like i said before i don't follow nicko as much as before because I wanted more authentic food. i wouldn't call this chinese food either, never did. If u noticed before I said Tang was right and general tso needs to have some spice to it. This will still taste delicious though

  • @chocho12321

I used nearly full blast High hot oil, by the way. between medium high and high. I put the chicken in and it was a full rolling fry.

  • @cymaddux31 then you put too much chicken in at a time. if thats not the case then you have a bad stove. if thats not the case then you're lying. Good for you for getting it cooked perfectly in bad conditions. eyeballing when food is cooked is good for a chef.

But no matter what you say, your cooking time is wrong for good conditions. and your 15-20 min recommendation is just outrageous.

  • @chocho12321

nope, I had about 10-12 bite sized pieces.

  • @cymaddux31 I'm not questioning Tai's authenticity, most recipies will be more authentic than this one. But what Nicko does is choose from what he has with his own imagination like a good cook.

I'm questioning your knowledge on cooking cause you're just wrong about the cooking time for deep frying bite sized chicken in hot cooking oil.

  • @cymaddux31 Maybe 7 minutes for someone who made a mistake of putting it in warm oil. which is a fundamental mistake in deepfrying. you need hot oil. your oil not hot enough and cooled down too much when you put in the chicken.

Like i said before why would you want to cook something for 10 minutes when it can be just as good in 5 minutes and hot oil?

  • @cymaddux31 Also you really lost all credability when you didn't look at the description for measurements AND thought you needed to cook this chicken for 15-20 minutes.

seriously, anyone who cooks their meals should know that tiny pieces of chicken being fried do not need that long. Thats ANYONE, not just a chef. What that says to me is that you don't cook, so you're either a kid wanting to learn. props to you if so. Or you're just that bad at cooking.

  • @chocho12321

I cook mine for 10 minutes actually, and judging from your spelling and grammar, it looks like you are the one that didn't graduate high school.

  • @cymaddux31 lol seriously spelling and grammer is coming into this? no one spells are talks perfectly online unless they try and english is not my first language.

If you deep fried bite sized chicken for 10 minutes it would be dry and overcooked. if u like it like that then be my guest. But any quality that chicken had before is gone. Maybe you're pan frying. That would make more sense. But this guy is deepfrying. He's cooking it right. Just not the right recipe because there's nothing spicy.

  • @chocho12321

    GRAMMAR. Told ya.

I deep fried it for 10 minutes and it was juicy and delicious with no pink.

  • @cymaddux31 good spelling and grammar doesn't make your argument right or my argument wrong.

if you deep fried it for 10 minutes in hot oil it will be overcooked. Maybe your oil wasn't hot enough and you were lucky. But why would anyone want it to take 10 minutes when it can take 3-5 minutes in hot oil to get the same result?

Also you said chef Tai recommended 15-20 minutes. But you say you made yours perfect in 10 minutes. So if we followed chef tai it would be overcooked?

  • @chocho12321

Exactly, neither does someone's age, and I am sure I am much older than you. Go watch Chef Tai, he says 15-20 minutes. I did 10 because it was my first time making it and I went in the middle of everything I watched, some had 5 some had 15-20, NONE but this guy had 3 minutes. 3 minutes is simply not long enough, Why the hell do you care so much, are you his gay lover or something?

  • @cymaddux31 i care because what you're saying is genuinely wrong. Deepfrying bitesized chicken in hot oil will be cooked in 3-5 minutes. He said about 3 minutes, but it can be longer depending on the size. In then end as a cook you have to decide how much longer you want to keep frying if you think its undercooked. But 10 minutes of bite sized chicken is just too long. no matter what.

  • @cymaddux31 I'm in college which is why I needed help cooking with youtube vids. Nicko was a great way to start learning because its cheap and simple that any college student could get.

10 minutes is just too long for this size, and deepfrying in hot oil. it WILL be overcooked. And if you're much older than me and cooked for many years more than me you would know that by now. How long it takes for something to cook is one of the first things you learn as a chef just from good/bad experience.

  • @cymaddux31 Think before u critisize or your arguments will just be bad and you'll lose all credability. That will hurt whatever arguement you were trying to make more than it will help.

That goes for any argument in life and those essays you're probably getting in school.

  • You need to say how much of each ingrediant you are using, how dumb.

  • @cymaddux31 read the description before you bitch

  • @setchemati

    irrelevant

  • @cymaddux31 read all the comments before you make yourself look like a moron. I was talking about this comment "You need to say how much of each ingrediant you are using, how dumb." Not this one "3 minutes isnt nearly long enough, enjoy the food poisoning from undercooked chicken. Tai reccommends 15-20 minutes, you can see his videos on youtube as well and he is authentic chinese not a guido looking brit." congratulations though on being a dumbass :)

  • Can you make a video on how to cook CRACK?

  • (*gasps!*) That is one of my favorite foods! Thanks so much for this recipe!

  • Are you a Greek from Australia or Astoria or something.....???

  • your awesome man

  • not really the excat recipe but at least its good

  • Is it just me, or is "yummy" the gayest word an adult male can enunciate?

  • @koalaswrath Personally I think fabulous is gayer.

  • @koalaswrath lol. aye, i think you're right.

  • Oh, and by the way, can you serve this with noodles?

  • @Garyankan Dude, you can serve it with a peanut butter & jelly sandwich if you like. That is unless, you live in a strange country where eating whatever you like is forbidden...

  • Om nom nom nom!

  • fantastic dish, made it many times \o/ thanks for posting!

PS! this is what it looks like if you want to make it in a wok - watch?v=v_dkYNq8G9Y

  • I'm eating this right now, and it;s yummy!!!!

  • eat with a spoon o.o

  • Thanks for the video. I was looking all over for this recipe.

  • Lol when he was eating

  • it looks really good. but i bet you that the batter on the chicken is soft. its not crisp.

the chicken was added to early in the process.

real general tso's chicken is spicy. and the spice and sugar needs to balance out to taste right.

take it from a chinese restaurant chef.

  • @Tang825 is this one called in cantonese "GU LOU YOK"?
