  • one of the most brilliantly acted scenes in the series i think. it has a really nice tone to it. a powerful way for their stories to come together

  • "you make it so hard" haha, great double entendre

  • shes a career woman, and she chose career over love. even if it hurts. thats sad.

  • When he said he loved her, I was like "FINALLY! They should be together!" and then she told him about the baby, and we finally got a sense of how she truly felt about herself for giving him/her away... and I just felt so sad.

This scene made this whole season worth it for me. (I have to admit I was a little

disappointed... especially with Betty and Joan (why Joan, WHY?! you were the strongest... or so I thought.))

Beautiful series, impatiently waiting for season 3.

  • I don't believe Pete ever loved Peggy. She was just the representation of the free part of himself that he gave up when he became a henpecked husband. He knows nothing about Peggy, as her little confession reveals.

  • There is a scene after the final of this scene, where it looks like there is a rifle in the hand of that fellow -as though he were to commit suicide; or so it seems.

    .

Can you rewatch the movie ending and let me know if you see it too, and what you think or if you can't see the rifle, then tell me what is that thing in the middle of the screen image.

    .

    cheers.

  • You saw it. After Peggy leaves Pete picks up the rifle that he exchanged the chip n dip for in Season 1.

I was freaked that he would eat it too, but it might just be relfecting on how selfish most his actions and motivations have been in his interactions with Peggy. It is more symbolic than directive.

  • Pete wants it to be about him, like his limited understanding and perception is the whole. Then Peggy enlightens him she's really in the reality loop, and he says why did you have to ruin it for me?

  • I just adore these two. Brilliant acting and great chemistry!

  • yea, everyone "lost".

  • Makes my cry every time I watch it.

  • amazing scene

  • I start crying when she says "then there is less of you." I cannot remember the last time tv or a movie made me cry like this.

  • I still can't get over this scene. So powerful.

  • This scene is so great. My favorite scene of the season I think. Why couldn't have Pete said this last season?! They're both such great actors. I hope this isn't really the end for their characters. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • I loved this scene... I almost cried. I hope that Pete really ditches 'Lovely' and they get back together somehow.

I rarely watch television anymore but this show is wonderful.

  • This scene was so sad, but I must say Peggy looked really good here.

  • this is the best scene ever

  • Wow.... didn't think she'd ever tell him.
