Do you have any problems when you connect your earphones to the N8 using the internetradio app? If I connect earphones it sounds like I hear music in a tunnel, but only in the internetradioapp. All other kinds of music sound normal. Its really strange. There is no problem with any of my earphones and when I connect the N8 with HDMI to my stereosystem the music of the internetradio app sounds normal. My n8 combined with audio jack and internetradioapp doesn´t work for me.
Yes, it might sound like that as the default settings are with stereo widening-ON but you can change it. Turn a station on and then open your Music Player from the Menu and then go to Settings and Toggle the Stereo Widening Settings. Remember, you need to toggle it to make the settings active.
For those who want the Nokia Internet Radio for ther SYmbian 3 5th edition type in your browser w-w-w Hotfile dot com/dl/76940022/b88f1bb/Public_sign_InternetRadio_50_2010_09_30_121748.sisx.html and hit enter. I have it on my N8 and it works fine.
Hey man. When i go to my Applications, I dont see the icon you pressing (radio with globe)... did you download that app? You speak of a link in here, but I cant see that either....sorry to be a pain but could you explain a little further? Many thanx!
You have to download that application from the internet, search for nokia n8 internet radio app and you'll find that, if my link is not working, or you can get it from my link. Hope you're going to find it soon! Great application BTW ;)
Hi Phantom, Thanks for that. I havent even got the Nokia N8 yet. Its a toss up between that and the C7. Love the N8 specs but not the non removable battery. I have downloaded the file. I also have the file for the Hyper X Mod for the 30fps frame rate.
It's free if it's under the warranty just pay the battery price, and they will change it for you for free, after the warranty, you can change the battery your self in 3 minutes!
@q8phantom Hi Phantom. Thanks for that information. However I was thinking more about being able to remove the battery easily if your Nokia N8 handset crashes. I realise that if you hold the menu button for eight seconds the handset is meant to reboot. However if it didnt and it hasnt for some people you would have to open up the Nokia N8. They should have put a removable cover just like the Nokia C7. Its always good to be able to take out the battery quickly in case your phone should freeze.
@Stevethesearcher I agree with you on that, but even on the laptop if you want to shut it down in any case, it will force the system to shut down, and that's the case for the N8. I don't know if it will happen that sometime it will never shut down, but I don't think that is the case with the N8 cause surly they know about this issue if it happens, it will force to shut down and that button is independent of the software. It will cut electricity if hold for 8 seconds.
Looks like the guy holding the N8 has parkinson symptoms lol
Nevertheless, nice app.
