  • Cute, I like. but if your a heavyset person how would you live in the apartments tokyo offers

  • It is my dream. I would put some flowers at the window...

  • I wouldn't mind living there.

  • I know I read the description after I commented. No need to get so serious

  • Wow could you message me how much it was because im gonna move to Tokyo. Also if you could tell me if you allowed to use USA money in Japan? Thanks and great vid! (:

  • @Welcome7oHell If you even have to ask such a stupid question, maybe you should not be going to Japan.

  • wow! it's soooooo tiny! and cute!!!

I guess it's 1 person apartment right? cuz I can't live in a tiny apartment like that with another person... XD

  • I'm surprised they left so much space for the bathtub, they could've moved that closer and gave more room for the other areas, or another closet.

  • it pleases me to know that after taking a shit you can smell it while cooking...

  • @QueenSnookie2 Every year I spend my vacation in my caravan in southern europe. It is more smaller than this appt. I enjoy it , every door is tight closed and there are windows which you can open. Ok , here i didnt see in window, but they have so strong suction system that all kind of smells get right away. There are many americans who live in the small caravan houses. I think , according to tokyo sity condition , it is the best solution.I personally live in a big house, but i can live there a

  • it looks very expensive

  • Do 7 people not like the video or the apartment?

  • The doors in that apartment remind me of something you would see in a jail.

  • @lostindiancamp people in prison have more space!! I rather die

  • All you need is love, la la la la la...

  • when i move to japan i want to buy a small plot of land just outside of tokyo in a neighboring city or something and build my own house with imported things like water heaters and washer dryer combo. its going to ba japanese style but with western advantage THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!

  • @strawberry505643 good luck finding the money for that

  • @xPWN74 i know right such a bummer but im going to be an electrician so hopefully that will do it

  • that is so little and cute and clean :D

  • Its soo cuute!! I wanna live there!

  • If you want to live in a box don't let me stop you. I do agree US has a lot of excess of possessions but I I wouldn't trade my space for anything. You can't have an animal in those types of apartments and you pay probably 10x more than I do per sq. I pay 400 utilities included for an apartment in MN and it's 650sqft? If you're into city life than that's the spot for you but I'm a country gal.

  • why dident you take your shouses off

  • The toilet looks so lonely with out it's shower buddy

  • no living room?

  • The only thing I could never live with with those apartments is the less-than-four-burner stoves. Curse my American standards :(

  • this apt is sweeet

  • Ok I'm 5'11 and claustrophobic so that apartment would probably drive me crazy. But its a very nice place.

  • kinda looks like living in a trailer

  • それは多分私は多くのスペースに私の日本の伝統的な家、道の外に移動する必要があります本当に素敵なアパートに、無プライバシーです

  • @Greeny1hit1the1sign No, what makes a place insipid is its occupants. If that apartment is occupied by a vibrant,life-loving person, it will be vibrant and full of life. As an American, I live in a sea of insipid people in their insipid McMansions and their insipid SUVs. They are miserable, bland people, trying to correct the lack of meaning in their lives with more and more meaningless stuff.

It's not how big your place is, it's how you LIVE in it, that counts.

  • @suzbailey23 You really shouldn't judge people. I live in a two story house with 5 spacious rooms and I'm pretty happy with my life.

  • Very interesting! Thanks for sharing! Yep, cruise ship room style...just missing the porthole! :)

  • so many doors i could pee in the washing mashine

  • Well, it wouldn't be too bad to clean...

  • Looks like a hospital. Lol But I still love Japan<3 xD

  • its really cute but i think i would just go to japan for a visit i dont think i can live in a really small space im claustrophobic :(

  • nice! everything u need is there!

  • I presume it's for a working single. Didn't notice any ventilation in the windowless rooms.

  • @FedupwithR

Well in japanese culture, usually couples live in houses together instead of apartments, due to the fact that there is not much space.. could you imagine having a kid living in one of those??? O.o

  • wheres the love making bed?

  • My favorite part about the apartments is that the toilet and washroom are separate from each other. How nice! And wonderful! I hate bathing in my own filth. XP

  • @iEvarae I know and the bad thing is that here in Ireland there is small and tiny bathrooms so if you wanna take a bath and someone wanna piss you gotta let them in while you take a bath coz there is only a limited time for the hot water. So you gotta turn away while the other is BESIDE you pissing.

My brothers always do that and you know ..... they try to check my privacy parts. LOL

  • wheres the livingroom.?

  • Wheres the weed growing chamber?

  • But*

  • I thought it was small bit wen you started to open the doors, it had a lot of space. I think it's great. How much is it? Do you know?

  • @crrops

    look at sakura-housedotcom

there's a good spot to get estimates, although they are somewhat expensive depending on your tastes.

  • i wish they had the option for low priced mini apartments like that in America. i dont need much space and am tired of a studio that costs more than i can afford!

  • HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO FIT MY JAGER BOTTLES IN THEM LITTLE ASS FIDGES? FUCK THAT SHIT, GLUTTONY AND INDULENCE FOR ME!!!! USA USA USA

  • very nice! toilet separate from shower, toilet also has bidet toilet seat, that is virtually unknown in USA. washing machine in a separate closet. very, very nice!

  • very nice apartment imo. :)

  • are Japanese apartments expensive? i am just wondering.

  • very nice and very tidy

    great apartment

  • They make mall apartments because the majority of Japan people are Thin. It's pretty decent for anybody who eats and excersizes daily and keeps a good weight.

  • and that costs more than my house >.<

  • The apartment is like ... narrow XD - someone might slam the doors in someone face easily.

  • I'd be happy, just with this space.

  • OMG...$1,400 a month? My mortgage on a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house on 1 acre of land is not that much.

  • when i am in my senior year in highschool, i am going to Japan to be a foreign exchange student. so, for a year i will be living with a family i have never met, and will be on the other side of the world from my family for that year. i didnt think of this before, but i am extremely claustrophobic, and if this is normal for Japan living spaces, ill definitely have some problems.

  • Dating a sexy wife who is alone *lushfmlk.info*

  • wooooooooooow it looks nice but it looks too expensive to live in

  • 1400 dollars. wow.

  • i could never live in a japan apartment... the space is the size OF A FREAKING SHOE BOX!

  • @jessica28168 LMAO!!!

  • Im going to tokyo in year or so, this appartment is really nice. But if its around 1400 a month.. looks like ill be living in a cardbord. XD

  • does that toilet seat come with a intergrated tv/xbox/car? that would be sweet!

  • love it....larger than others that ive seen

  • its the best place for a student to stay i think..

  • doors doors to many doors, the fact that it is separated by room like the comfort room thas makes it look smaller!

  • Everything is so institutional looking and sooooo tiny. It almost makes you feel like you're on a motor home.

  • The shower area was so big! they should have shaved a few inches off so the toilet area could fit fat people, gotta think long term guys!

  • I totally understand efficiency but whats up with the toilet and bath being seperate???

  • @porn1978 Culture.

  • @SunnySabure ...lol yeah true.

  • @porn1978 they like it better like that....and wtf is up with ur name? O_O

  • @TinyPenis ....ummm what about my name?

  • @DoucheBag5484 oh nothing its just u sound like a perverted old fag but hey we all have our flaws

  • @TinyPussy ....yeah well im not but im sure u r..look at how ur petting the shit outta that ugly cat with ur fat ass arms.

  • @UglyAss ok nice come back that my cousin and her cat and y r u stalking me on youtube? how about u shut ur mother fucking jesus lips before i locate u and poor a bucket of acid of ugly ass bitch face k? :)

  • @ToriPeebs ......thats you, with your fat lazy cat and your fat ass jiggly arms...you wouldnt do anything but blow my fuckin cock you fat ass whore!

  • @porn1978 wow ur a real dumb ass u know that? u know i dont even care if u think thats me. y dont u look at ur profile picture? do something about that nappy hair and y dont u shave the mustache?

  • That's kinda cute...too bad I'm claustrophobic. lol

  • Must be worth a fortune :) ! So strange, but understandable in a overpopulated city.

  • The bare essentials.

  • that was sweet ..practical and immaculate...now if someone would answer my "kids needing good home" add in the paper, I'm out of here ........Oh waait ...what do I do with the wife?

  • Pets fly cheap. solved the wife problem

  • U said it wasn't your apt. , Well it dang sure wasn't mine either. Who lived there that guy from the Monk? Way to clean and shiny for me..lol

  • Sony... Ofcourse

  • this is where most serial killers are living, small tight places, with typical day routine, one day they got mad and kill everyone on the building

  • very very nice small apartment! The washroom is impressive!! They could get more living/storage space if they put a high bunk in there instead of the bed...that way you can have a small sofa or futon under it for guests, as well as closet/storage space...

  • I lived in an apartment this small in Denver, for about 2 years. It was my first apartment, Nice and modern, just small. Cost me $400 a month.

  • for the flat, only of course.

between 150,000 and 210,000 yen dependig on location

  • That place cost that much? Oh yeah, I forgot, you said Ginza.

  • Im currently living in tokio and my apartment looks almost exactly the same. Despite everything is in the same spot, in my apartment every room is alot smaller.

  • how much is rent??

  • wow that's really small..how much is rent a month?

  • 75 cents

  • the fact that you left all those doors open drove me crazy

  • Wow This is nicer and bigger than apartment in Paris !!

  • Anything is nicer than anything in Paris.

  • LOL.

  • It is rather nice for Tokyo standards. Living in Japan makes you realize that one does not need the huge SUV and homes like one may find in the USA

  • @Renaissanceman86 Well, yeah true. I just want a car that'll get me to college and a small-medium size home for me to sleep at. lol. but i understand why "Americans" would want bigger houses; because they are physically bigger lol. Like Asian people are fucking tiny. Americans are huge. and I'm not just talking about obesity, but height as well. It'd be pretty uncomfortable for a 6foot person to live in a house like this.

I get your point though. Some people go overboard with their shit.

  • i dont think i even saw a toilet....

  • check out :30 smart guy... hehehe

  • wow this is better than some iv seen its nice that everythin is neatly squared away

  • OMG! it's a "matchbox!" It is more like an airplane then an apartment.

  • That'd be sooo awesome to live in in Japan! If it weren't proubly how much it costs most likely.

  • How much?

  • I recently bought one unit in ginza, around 90sqm2, much bigger than this one on video, and.... yes... of course I bought it on installments.. as hard cash purchase is just beyond me :)

  • its so cramped, must be hard having company

  • having company is very unusual in tokio, because the sound isolation is not very good, and the neighbors have a very low tolerance to even mild noise at night.

  • hey it almost bigger than a apartment in nyc

  • whoa.. the toilet is seperated from the shower and sink =O

  • In Japan, the sink is on the top of the toilet.

    - User/VerticalhorizonXL

  • im talking bout the sink where you brush ur teeth and stuff

  • I really like to try living in japan.. ^_^

  • It' weird that the sink is in the room with the shower and not the toilet. I'd want to get rid of that wall between those two rooms.

  • the sink for washing your hands is built into the top of the toilet. Thsi conserves energy and saves the water you use.

  • OMG i love the toilets here. So fresh and so clean clean!

  • Japan is so densely populated and tokyo is the most compact of them all. This "box" I'm guessing is really expensive

  • I'm going to make a wild guess and say it's about 200,000 Yen, or about $2,112 USD.

Space in Tokyo is at a premium, and good housing is incredibly expensive.

  • omg my studio is bigger than that

  • sold

  • WTF wheres the living room? the dining room? lol its jus as bad as sum college dorms lol but ex washing machine lol

  • That actually looks pretty nice. I bet it's horribly expensive.

  • Definitely not for someone who likes to cook a lot or entertain.

  • If that's modern my house is 100years into the future lol...did u mean modern as in futuristic?

  • In Japan our housing is very low, so this is a very nice hoome.

  • .....wow

  • wtf toilet and sink what if u have a runny crap and ur hands get covered in shit u gotta walk into another room getting to get shit off your hands. ghey

but overall nice! i wanna live there

  • HAHAHAHA

  • LMAO!!

  • ok what does that mean? 8D

  • Exactly how often are your hands covered in shit anyway?

  • i dont know, after curry night?

  • I think there's a sink built into the top of the toilet.

  • No,ther isn't.

  • The washroom and shower are actually a very good size. I was surprised. Maybe if you got a convertible couch. I'm wondering, where would you eat? O_o

  • wow thats actually a really nice appartment , its very bright, most japan app. are so dark and depressing, even though the space is small, its still very nice

  • its nice...buh the size of a trailer!

  • I hate the flow of the apartment.

  • I also don't like it. But, you don't have much space to work with in Tokyo.

  • Yea. You're lucky if youre bedroom isnt combined with youre living room.

  • Very nice apartment, I like the butt cleanser on the toilet. We need those in America.

  • its ncie...buh omg are all japanese apartments this size?...ill diee!

  • Actually this is a quite large apartment compared to most.

  • I would say that this size is about average for an apartment that a single person in Tokyo lives in. There are definitely a lot that are smaller though.

  • Very nice apartment. Do you mind if I ask where this is located and what the approximate monthly rent is?

    Thanks.

  • This actually was a video that I got off of a real estate website, and is of an apartment in the Ginza area of Tokyo. It looks like a monthly-mansion (furnished & month-to-month), and I remember the price being around $1400 US dollars per month.

  • @allezlesbleu5 FOR THAT! I AM NEVER GOING TO JAPAN >.<

  • @egeseatr35, yeah, I bet that's the reason you're not going to japan ;)

  • damn this is a nice tokyo apartment, how much do you pay for rent??
