gimmicky travesty. I love the white stripes, black keys, muddy waters, junior kimbrough, Tom Waits, but this is nonsense. It is a horrible cover of a simply amazing song, I feel like it has lost all of its emotion, all of the mourning that skip james put into it and now it has all the gimmicky feel of Metallica's cover of "Turn the Page"
It's not the polished white-boy blues that we mostly hear these days...this is real dirty low down shit. I reckon the original bluesmen would appreciate the attitude of the Blues Explosion. I love it.
