  • This was such a sad episode, it really tugs at the heart. Norman wasn't a psychopath like so many, he just snapped because of his daughter's death and overall unhappiness. The moment he realizes they're gone.. ."Oh. . but they were. . .they. . " then he breaks down. I think when the mother and daughters laugh when he says he's the killer is when we know for sure something isn't right, and the flashes to him in his daughter's room

  • Okay that was a very sad CM but it had a happy ending. <3CM4eve

  • haha kill them blondes!

  • Did anyone else notice how similar this case was to the one that JJ and Jordan were talking about during her training? (Memoriam... I think)

  • aww i love the ending!!! so cute!! man, i miss jj, tho!!!

  • Lol Reid navigating and giving directions to Morgan is like how I navigate and give directions to my mum whenever we're driving in an unfamiliar city. : P

  • I feel so bad for the unsub, actually. TT_TT

  • @lululover333 I do too, he wasn't a monster psychopath like so many, he was pushed over the edge by a tragedy and an unhappy life, he was sick more than anything, and needed help.

  • What's the episode with the guy who opens and closes the door multiple times to actually open the door properly?

  • That team is such a little family. its adorable.

  • but that tie WAS fucked up :0

  • @wildwilde11 Hahahahahahahahahahaha!! The tie was pretty corny. (I'm laughing because of the way you said it).

  • @KOMalley76 haa

  • @wildwilde11 lmao!! hahahaha i laughed when i read ur comment!! it was pretty weird, but just the way u said it...omw!! LOL!!

  • derek morgan awww i love him and he is so cute with the baby <3

  • Hey! I liked that tie!

  • Hotch... Smiling... Brain... Shutting... Down... Ohmygosh why can't he do that MORE?!?!?!?!!?!?!? <3 Hotch is always been my favorite!

  • @hfp35 I love Hotch too :)

  • aww.. Morgan carrying the baby <3

  • the 1 dislike is from Director Skinner

  • at 36:01 Reid looks hot with a gun

  • "he is smiling at Derek Morgan"

    "...gas."

  • That wife is a bitch, them kids are bitches. It wasn't the guys fault that hi daughter died. It' not like he threw her in the middle of the road. I actually felt bad for him.

  • @brapbrapbradyy Agreed.

  • Jordan, we don't need your drama. The unsub is priority, not you. Grow up a little.

  • I don't think that the wife and daughters actually blamed him. In the end chase scene, they were obviously hallucinations. He was probably projecting his own guilt that way. He blamed himself. I don't think that any of the images we saw of his family were true to life. He felt powerless because his youngest daughter died while in his care. His grief from that, compiled with his guilt, manifested into a psychotic break.

  • @TheBansheila True. But his wife and daughters obviously held no respect for him prior to his youngest daughter's death. They're disregard for him over the years lowered his self-esteem and fueled his contempt. The death of his youngest child, the only child who didn't ridicule him, was the stressor that turned him into a psychotic killer. I actually felt bad for this guy....

  • @00Kimochi00 Good point. They didn't show it, but the youngest could have been the only one to really accept him for who he was. That was an awful thing to happen, seeing his child hit by a car, right before his eyes. I can see how any parent might have a psychotic break because of it. While that is no excuse, I can understand it. I feel bad for him, too. This is one of the only UnSubs that I have really felt anything but dislike for. Him and the guy from the episode True Night.

  • @TheBansheila I agree, but not sure if "accept" is the right word. The two girls were teens so in all likely hood were at the stage we're they probably did think their parents, esp their dad was a geek. Jenny was much younger so looked up to him. We never see the daughters while alive so we don't know if anyone blamed him, but I don't think it was as bad as he thought, but he probably did blame himself even if it wasn't his fault. He's nothing like most unsubs on the show who are psychopaths

  • 21:30... Makes me laugh a little... because I feel the same way after work sometimes :/

  • awwww morgan with the baby! MARRY ME

  • ohh this is so sad

  • his wife and kids are bitches, I feel sorry for him!

  • @xxalice1000xx HA! I said the same thing a few weeks ago. I would never talk to my dad like that!

  • Parent trap evil step-mum to be!

  • In this one at the end Morgan just kinda seems like a dick..how rough he is with the unsub when the guy is on the ground crying. Usually when that happens he is just really nice with them

  • I can really see Morgan as a baby daddy

  • I think the team learned in this episode, that there may be thousands of people dying each day, but there is a whole new thousand babies born each day... :) love the ending... <3

  • seems like everyone from supernatural has been on CM lol

  • this proves hotch did have a thing for JJ!!

  • AHHHHHH IT'S GINA TORRES! =D

  • ...His first victim is the bitchy fiancee from The Parent Trap, Meredith. LOL. xD

  • Karma is a bitch. I'm a weird to think that the woman deserved that?

  • is that Zoe from Firefly?

  • hahaha lol, Reid's wave near the beginning was so cute :D

  • Did Norman remind anyone else of Walter from Breaking Bad?

  • How did the kids not wake up when he shot the mom? Shotguns are extremely loud!

  • Liked Mitch Pileggi as a villain. For those of you who don't know him, he was the assitant director of the FBI in the series X files. A very good actor.

  • Owwwww. I cried at the end. I love hotch!

  • the first lady he shoots is such a bitch

  • There was a case pretty similar to this in Argentina. Where a man killed his two daughters, wife and mother in law because they treat him like shit.

  • OMG!!! the blonde he killed first is the stupid girlfriend of Dennis Quaid in "The Parent Trap"!!! I hate her sooo much

  • He killed 8 people..What a bastard !

  • Lmao the song from Juno is playing right after the serial killer kills the woman in the beginning

  • this episode somehow reminds me of "Death of a Salesman"

  • jj- you'er smiling

    hoch- gas lol !!!

  • @goforit829 lol i was just thinking that

  • three things i like about criminal minds

    3: it's funny

    2: it's realistic

    1: Dr spencer reid

  • And that's why you don't act like a bitch on the roadways... that innocent-looking motorist you piss off could be a psycho.

  • i honestly feel bad for this guy... :(

  • Skinner!!!!

  • I'm a little confused: When supposedly did he kill his family? Was it right before the car chase? Or is it literally before they even got the case (as Rossi says) and he's been imagining them there through the entire episode?

  • @KOMalley76 yeah i'm pretty sure rossi is right, it looks like he kills them the same day he killed the first woman, the night of his wife's party. the team doesn't get called in until he already killed 3.

  • @girlsatimebombxx I think so, too there are flashes of the night he shot them shown when they show the door and him getting the gun ready.

  • That dude's daughters were little bitches though. I would never treat my dad like that!

  • "Did anyone realize how the trips home always feel shorter?"

"Yeah is because the tailwinds are in our favor."

    "No..ah"

    I LOVE REID.

  • Morgan would make a great father!

  • JJ just made my day.

  • The wife played on Murphey Brown.

  • the lady at the begining is the women from the parent trap hahaha

  • I personally liked that dudes tie...

  • I kinda feel bad for him his wife and children are bitches to him

  • nothing.i mean he needs help.this one maybe just a series but i ve heard every single episode is based on true facts.anyway true or not we all know there are been similar and much worse crimes.poor and ineffective judicial system of usa.also here in greece

  • this is way the crazyest episode ever.i mean what a pitty for the father who went insane after all that blame it had been put on him.so much preasure and offense to deal with.that wife and not only her made him feel guilty.she even orders him about the tie.in cases like this it is not clear who is to put in jail.i mean certainly not only the who pulls the trigger.liability is relevant almost in any case.i tottaly feel for the unsub.lock him up would do

  • normal people are not normal

  • 40:39 "You're smiling." "Gas." ^_^

  • Aw. I live in OC. Shit. Now I'm scared. :/

  • I was a police officer in NYC years back, and I gotta tell you ,out all the cop tv series ,this is definately the best.thank you uploader.

  • yeah!!! hotch smiled!!!

  • the lady in the car in the beginning looks like the victim in the episode open season.

  • I think that these top comments are the only ones i have seen that don't refer to Reid,

  • for once i fell sorry for the unsub

  • I feel bad for the unsub and his kids... but his wife kinda deserved it. It wasn't his fault his daughter got hit by a car. It's the one who was driving it like 80 mph.

  • @princessAeilita I think she only blamed him in his own thoughts. He thought everyone hated him.

  • @Leksakshund That's possible. Guess we won't know for sure though. That just leaves room for our own thoughts. :)

  • @princessAeilita No, I think I'm right. I mean, she only blamed him while they were in the car, and we later found out that his family were in fact dead, and that he was only imagining them being there in the car with him. Not to mention that he thought his buddies at work also said stuff about him all the time.

  • how could they blame him for his daughter's death

  • @trishhhiii --He might have been having delusions of being blamed; she walked out into triffic on her own; I see no fault only a tragic accident.

  • Reid's face when they're on the chase. He's like terrified. Hahahah

  • I think his wife is really stupid that ahe isn't letting him wearing that tie with the cars on it, whil it's obvious that it's his faverourite tie. I actually love the tie.

  • I would've drove as soon as I saw the gun.

  • Is it wrong that I feel really bad for him? (I feel bad for the victims too!)

  • Anyone else feel like when Hotch is telling someone off he sounds like a really strict father talking to his teenage kid? The way he grabbed Todd like that and pointed a finger whilst saying "this is not the time or place" totally reinforced that.

  • Are the UNSUB's glasses MGG's??

  • I LIVE IN ORANGE COUNTY

  • "You have no idea how many middle-aged white men there are out there who have someone close to them that think they're a serial killer."

    Anyone else find this funny?

  • @BulletproofAnaDoll *raises hand*

  • first victim is a bitch!

  • Spencer is so cute! He always waves when meeting a new person xD

  • i feel bad for the unsub

  • Morgans crazy driving AWSOME!!!!

  • I hate episodes like this, when I feel sorry for the killer. Makes me think something is wrong with me :S

  • @Nadesiko85 pity is in the heart not the mind. sometimes we feel for the person, not the acts. if anything i think there is something right with you. it means that you are more human.

  • @vietasiangirl Wow. Thank you! You made me feel better

  • @Nadesiko85 many times people who commit these crimes are suffering from psychotic break, not thats it an excuse, but some mental illness have horrific side effects, many are never diagnosis until it is to late

  • @Nadesiko85 and as for thinking it is wrong, it is not , it just that you can show compassion even for those who do not deserve it , which is a good trait to have lol

  • nothing more precious than seeing a man melt as there holding a baby...

  • @gingerrylant I was thinking that too, but was afraid of been the only one xD

  • @gingerrylant Nothing more sexy than seeing a man with a baby or child. I think a primal think. Females are just attracted to good fathers.

  • @shurtugal1 really?

  • @marshmellow3000 yeah. Its actually been scientifically proven. Women like guys that make good fathers. This is what I get for taking psych.

  • why didn't agent Todd even raise her gun when entering the unsubs house?

  • I don't mean to be a terribly person, but the scene at 02:55 was pretty awesome XD.

  • awwwww omg the ending is the best part!

  • OH MY GOD IT'S ZOE

  • Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.

    H. L. Mencken

  • This might be the only unsub I actually felt pitiful towards....

  • @jasperxalicecullen Yes! This episode was really hard for me to watch because I feel kinda of sorry for him... What he did is no right, but I still feel sorry...

  • aww derek would make a goood dady huh?

  • When Norman started to cry after remembering he murdered his family got me watery eyed. Out of all the sad moments from television shows, nothing like his crying has ever hit me in that sort of a way before.

  • for some reason, this unsub made me really sad.

the look before his wife closed the door in his face in her office...and when he thought they were really in the car with him...we usually get incredibly creepy unsubs but this one was just sad.

  • sad story- i hope people will able to talk with their families and staying away from such stuff.. listen to your partners and friends...better then getting killed..

  • Luv this episode :D

  • i kinda felt bad for him at 17:30 to 17:50. its sad the way his kids look at him.

  • FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner reporting for duty! :D

  • lol during the chase reid reminded me of the guy from those all state mayhem commercials

" I'm your malfunctioning gps ... recalculating, TURN RIGHT NOW"

    ahahha

  • Derek holding Baby Henry is sexy,, Just saying

  • @MsSilenthorse just goes to prove what a great father morgan would be. :)

  • JJ!:) Thank God your bck!!!

  • While i feel bad for the "villain" for the pain he feels in regards to watching his young daughter get run over, the villain viciously murdered his wife and two daughters because he felt they had "moved on" too fast; so he kinda ruins any sympathy he can get from me...

  • @spiderwickfan123 No, as you can see from his delusion in the car, they all blamed him. Even if he only imagined them thinking, therefore saying those things (like he did with the people in his office), the way they behaved and his wife's personality showed that it's a lot like them to blame him for the little girl's death. I really do feel so awful about this episode, and also great sympathy, so it's good that they put that team bit at the end to dry the tears and bring back the smiles.

  • I feel so bad for this guy //_T

  • Of the handful of "villains" I feel sorry for, this guy is at the top.

  • @Wierdperson31 watch Elephant's Memory

  • @blacksuite1 and true night

  • Talk about the epitome of road rage.

  • i feel so bad for this guy .... so sad

  • veronica vaughn?

  • Oh Hotch, you softie.

  • I loved JJ's bit at the end, though

  • I actually feel of the guy, I pity him. :/

  • The only time in the series where a victim deserved to die.

  • @hanaryukoku What abou the gang-bangers in True Night?

  • @hanaryukoku You're disgusting, simply disgusting.

  • @hanaryukoku And which victim was that?

  • @hanaryukoku What about true night? He killed gang members remember?! They also deserved to die!
