More racism. I served with 2 young men, one from Ethiopia the other from Kenya, they went to Iraq and eventually received their U.S. citizenship. They were African Americans, if you were born here you are simply a lucky American. America should be colorblind by now. African Americans are not born on U.S. soil, those would be Americans. Cheryl Roberts is horrible.

@MrSoSad2Bad you wanna talk about racism lets talk about the gentrification of ne portland and how many blacks were pushed out of the area. Nothing to be said about that right? All you have to say is how there is an organization that encouragesblack american homeownership back into Portland at an equal rate as that of other ethnic groups in America. As soon as someone starts talking about Black American then its racist.

@MrSoSad2Bad As well I dont think you get to define who African Americans are......unless you are a black yourself. As well Blacks who are born here in the US are African Americans because their ancestry decends from Africa. In addition look at the history and facts behind black homeownership here in America and see if there is anything wrong with encouraging blacks to gain homeownership.
