I'd take Canada over the US any day. Speaking about currency issues, WTF is up with every single store within the states acting like Canadian money is the plague? I deal with American currency on a daily basis, and all you friggin' got to do is use a calculator and find the exchange rate. Big deal, eh?
Went to Burger King in the states, after after literally 6 minutes of employees running around "Oh my god, what do I do??? What's the rate? Oh my god... I don't even know what to do... oh my god. Oh my god." 87.8% of that is word-per-word.Then after this time, they told me "We don't accept Canadian money here..." You're all of 2 hours away from Canada, a major establishment, you can't fucking use a calculator, and you DON'T take our currency. Makes perfect sense.
And WHO's genius idea was it to open up a gas chain, where the only pumps available are pre-pay ones, which don't accept Canadian cards? Couldn't even go into the store and pay. They pretty much screamed "WE DONT WANT TO SUCEED AS A BUSINESS. WE DONT WANT YOUR MONEY."
thats okay, Vancouver is almost spitting distance from the states and no one wants o take american money. But your dollar is low right now anyway, So I get more bang for my buck by exchanging, SO TAKE THAT ECONOMY!
