  • Gotta say... In all fairness.... I love this band, both Pre-DUTG and Newer GGD, but... The vocal duet just sucks in this video. :/ Just my $.02

  • damnit i wish this was on my cd!

  • awesome band, awesome song

  • I love the band and their songs.. But John is really an aweful guitar player... But I think he was either drunk or very high at this show. :S

  • BEST BAND EVER!!!!

  • such an under-rated band... :(

  • jhahahahaha OMG OMG the audience is so intrested and excited about the goos to the point where they threw a bottle a john:O I am amazed bottles and papers hahahahaa OMG and when the guy with the tall hair laughs hahahaha I don't get it they're really good !!!!

  • Why can't they be like this today? I miss the old GGD's.

  • The Goo Goo Dolls ROCK !!!!!

  • Fat chick 2:20.

  • That was random.

  • One hell of a great song from the Superstar Car Wash album. Thank you very much for uploading this.

  • its my favorite off the album, they need to play this song more often at concerts

  • robbie's background vocals ruined the song.

  • That is legendary backing singing.

  • i love this song and the album that it came off of they should do more songs off that album such as "we are the normal" and "string of lies"

  • this is one of the most underrated songs from the GGD. one of my favorites too!

  • Superstar Car Wash is a classic!! Best GGD record!! Great songs...shame they dont play these songs anymore!!!

  • agree

  • Yea! I agree all the way!

  • Robbie looks like Danny Devito playing the Penguin in the Batman movie

  • hahaha thats such an obscure reference, but youre right, hahahaha

  • This is one of my fav GGD songs, they nvr play it at concerts so its so cool to be able to see them perform it here :D And its cool seeing John singing the high notes, cuz he doesnt really do it anymore.

Thanx 4 the upload, GGD rock!!

  • Is it just me or can Mike play those songs a heck of a lot better than George ever could?

  • totally agreed... george was a prick. :p

  • yeah they're old sound is better. they seem like they had more fun playing before they made it really big and i dont blame them.

  • yeah whatever happened to their original raw sound with the occasional kickass solos, i'll never know.

  • hey everyone,i fancy a break from my studies and want to cover this track, so ill cover it acoustically and put it up for download today so let me know what you think watch this space x rob

  • I fucking love this song.

  • GOO!!! <3<3

  • Back when they still cared.

  • it's not true - they still care!

  • He seems like a better guitar player than he gives himself credit for

  • right you are! =)

  • superstar carwash best album ever released by any band:)

  • I wouldn't go that farr but is def an underrated album without a doubt. This is def my fav song off that album.

  • Years later it's still one of my favorite albums ever. Brilliant start to finish.

I miss when they let Robby sing.

  • i love these guys robby takac is like the hottest bassist there ever is who ever doesnt like them they are complet retards.robby takac is so HOTT!!!!!!I LOVE HIM!!!!!

  • robbys funny too, just watch the making of dvd from the live in buffalo concert

  • Vintage Goo!! Vintage Goo ROCKS! "Stop The World" is probably one of my fave GGD tunes EVER.

  • darcy21usa is a fag lol-hope u read this peteR

  • yeah you def may find it there!! I've had those albums since the mid '90's so they were a little easier to find!

  • This song is amazing, as is ggd!

  • A great tune that you never hear them play anymore. They need to just do a 4 hour concert for us old-school die hard fans

  • i could go for that. from superstar car wash back. they never play anything from any of those first 4 albums besides 'cuz youre gone' and 'two days in february'

  • i don't even get those in my concerts

  • best idea ever, what would the concert start off with though?

  • After watching the beginnings and ends of the songs from Woodstock, I finally figured out the order: 1. Long Way Down 2. Fallin' Down 3. Burnin' Up 4. Stop the World 5. Lazy Eye 6. Slide 7. Name 8. Dizzy 9. Full Forever 10. Naked 11. Broadway 12. Flat Top 13. Iris Awesome performance by the Goo Goo Dolls!
  • Yeah 1990's Hold Me Up was a pretty Special album, it had two of like their best songs on it. Especially "There You Are", but I still think Superstar Carwash was just a little better.

  • I just Join the GOO GOO DOLLS FAN CLUB I LOVE THE DOLLS

  • Seriously, If you LOVE and I mean LOVE the GGD's, "Superstar Carwash" is probably to TODAY, their best Album! NO JOKE, it is SO underrated and is amazing blend of Hard rock and Melody. If you don't have it, go to the FYE or BEstBuy and get IT! Target and Wally World won't have IT! TRUST ME!! I live in Buffalo, I know =)

  • I like Hold Me Up best =)

  • You can say that again... I'm in the process of searching for it. I have checked Target and Wally World not there. I was shocked to find A Boy Named Goo there though. So, I have a trip planned to go visit FYE.

  • hahahah boots with shorts!! he still looks great though!!! I LOVE U JOHNNY!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes! This is what we want to hear from the Goo Goo Dolls. Real powerful emotive music. Far better than their latest album but I still worship the band. Superstar Carwash is my favourite album! It's a masterpiece!

  • I miss their old stuff too.

I love this song. I'm seeing them in two weeks and I bet they won't play anything off of my favorite album SSCW but it'll still be an awesome show :)

  • Apparently they're playing loads of stuff from Hold Me Up...

  • He is singing way too tidy to be on anything.

    He's prob just tired

  • aww man this is rockin'! I love their stuff from like jed-a boy named goo, but im not too hot on their new stuff-way too watered down. I saw them last August at the Tweeter Center in NJ and was disappointed to hear them play nothing older than a boy named goo (and of course that was name) im all for them starting to browse their old catalog before they make a setlist!

  • Great song.!

  • Goos rock! Not crazy about their new stuff though. They should use some of the old flava in their new material!

  • its an old video around 98 just as they got famous

  • i just wondering why john looks like he's not really there?

  • he's prob. high off his mind

  • haha he's probably concentrating on the crowd so he doesn't get hit by a water bottle or something. large groups of people and projectiles don't mix well.

  • love.this.song.

sounds just as great as the album version

  • Pure awesomeness. Wish they'd play this nowadays.

  • Love this song. One of my favourites of Superstar Car Wash

  • Awesome to hear it live! Thanks..

  • never heard this song before, but aces :D love rzeznik and his almighty beautiful hair.. =P

  • Love this song!!!

  • awesome
