  • Precioso, se les dice guacamayas colombianas porque tienen los colores de la bandera colombiana, Gorgeous, these sometimes are called Colombian Macaws because they have the colors of the Colombian flag

  • Cool scarlet :-) Is he flight trained? I can see he is flighted. If so, it would be cool to see a vid of him flying :-) Great job training him. Especially as tempermental as scarlets can be :-)

  • @PaRrOtReScUeWoTr Oops. Guess I shoulda watched the whole thing before commenting. DOH! lol.

  • I just love birds. They are such an amazing species I have my own Australian Lorikeet and I love him very much.

  • Hey, my scarlet mountain bikes with me. So, how about that.......

    Look up Kramer mountain bike

  • Beautiful macaw!

  • AMAZING

  • very well trained...this is total trust, in my opinion.

  • Aw...what a love. And of course, beautiful colors!

  • What a beautiful bird! Just look at that elegance and wingspan at 1:47. That's just awesome.

  • I liked it when he rolled over

  • Well done!

  • Wow, wonderful example of what clicker training can do and how much parrots can enjoy training!

  • They are outside and wings are not clipped! Impressive!

  • i just wonder. How come the bird doesn't fly away? Do you have to trim their wings for a while until they are really tame?

  • this is really impressive and clicker training as well wow! beautiful bird!

  • I have 3 birds and they are indeed smart.

  • i love this video!

ive seen this video like 10 times 2day

cuz i want 1 so bad!

  • I'd be careful. We had a male cockatoo for 12 years and suffered misery to his mischief before we finally gave him away Sunday. And does he scream bloody murder unless you go HIS way! You gotta think and make commitments before buying pets like these. They're not like dogs or cats, they're handfuls of burdens. Just trying to save you trouble. :)

  • sounds like you failed at training him.

its not the birds fault, its your fault

  • I agree with you....Poor birds are animals too especially parrots are very smart

  • I want to buy one myself... But you certaintly have to know how to train them....Macaws are really smart. Small parrots scream a lot and they are not as bright as Macaws, My cousin has one and he is so smart and cute. I d go for it.

  • These guys have money!

  • i find the trainer is not treating the bird well.

  • why not? the bird understands a good variety of tricks, with a clicker, i don't see the big deal

  • cuz da way day talk 2 da birds...

  • what way is that?

  • cuz at 1:50 some 1 said

    pinche pajaro

that means Fuckin bird... n spanish...

but idk i dnt think dat bad...

  • i i i cant speak only 4 words i shall say HE IS SOOOOOO COOL!!!!

  • What beautiful and talented birds they are. You best treat them with respect! ;)

  • Oh wow that bird is talented. They're all so beautiful as well. ^__^

  • lol

  • bonita guacamaya y buenos trucos :D

  • how much are they in san diego

  • these can go up to 2200$

  • 2200 bucks is nothing compared to what it costs to raise these guys!

  • Wow, that's a very talented bird, he's very beautiful too.

  • that was awesome! Great job! How did you teach him to roll over?

  • How do you figure?

That is one of hte happiest and well behaved Scarlets I've ever seen. They are a very tempermental species. It takes great love and care, and a very happy Scarlet to do these things.

  • He seems happy! And Cool Tricks :D

  • this bird is absolutely adorable! i love the wave ^.^

  • Great job on the clicker training!

  • looks like you take very good care of this bird. Amazingly well bred, good job!

  • theyre scarlets.

  • I WANT TO TEACH MY MACAW TO ROLL OVER

  • good luck with that mine never got trained and lt rolls over all the time

  • The beauty of this bird and the way it behaves is a credit to you. I love African greys but I think that scarlet macaws are the most beautiful parrots in the world

  • Indeed xD

  • thats true

  • just curious where is that resort at?

    Looks nice

  • He said Thai when he speak to the bird!!!!

So its mean he is Thai but stay in other country!!!

    The bird so cute

  • He said Thai when he speak to the bird!!!!

    The bird so cute

  • super cute! Remind of Iggy, the scarlett macaw I used to work with in a petcenter. He used to go for my buttons then for the peanuts. Then he would do his "crazy tongue"; looked like if he were eating pussy...lol These guys are really good caretakers; the macaes look healthy and have plenty of fly space.. :)

  • hi, firstly, wonderful training-its not often you see such good cues-the wing presentation particularly impressed me-so often its never held for long enough! secondly, i wonder if you could help me out- my scarlet won't pick up and carry- he picks up and throws instead, any tips??

  • that is a very beautiful macaw

  • i want one so bad i love them

  • Beautiful birds, loved watching the well trained one.

  • wow, that is one amazingly well trained scarlet macaw you have! I'm jealous!

  • Your bird only has like 3 or 4 of the secondary feathers cut, I guarantee she can still fly almost perfect like that with a little effort or gust of wind. You never know what might happen, you should be more careful.

However, beautiful bird and wonderful clicker training =)

  • Did you even WATCH the video? He's training it to FLY you dipshit.

  • i just love those incredibly long tails they have

  • my bird was clipped and he flew...and flew ...and flew and landed on someones roof!!!! the fire brigade had to come out with a big ladder and a pair off gloves lol

  • that's the same that happened to my shamrock macaw. a sprinkler went off and she flew way up in the trees at a 45 degree angle. she was in the trees for three or four days. i finally had the fire dept. rescue her. boy- i was glad we thought of the fire dept. her one wing was freshly clipped. it was like losing a child.

  • Awesome, I love the clicker training. Makes training so much fun. Beautiful Scarlet Macaw you have.

  • er, isnt a bit dangerous to have a bird out without a harness.

No matter how well trained they are...

    Linzy

  • That bird is clipped. It has an aesthetic wing trim. The wings still look pretty good but the bird can't fly very far.

  • yea but even with clipping - you might not think this but when spooked or a sudden gust of wind - birds can fly well, nomatter how clipped.

Did you know that 50% of escaped birds are clipped?

btw Im not having a go at you ;) - cause if I was what could I say? I mean look how happy and well looked after they are! ;)

  • Yes, of course any bird, even clipped, can fly away. My little green cheek is fully clipped (And I mean, if I clipped her primaries any further we'd have a bloody mess) and she still flies just as well as if she were fully flighted. But I believe in this case, it looks as if these are show birds who spend 90% of their time training. There's always a possibility, but I have a feeling these guys won't fly the coop.

  • cute and smart one!

  • Awesome Macaw.

  • beautiful scarlet!

  • awesome!

  • Extremely well traned. Great facility too. I just hope that the keys are a safe metal because of the things I have heard about other birds coming in contact w/ bad metals like zinc and pewter keyrings (pewter will kill).
