Thank YOU for your heartfelt dedication in this awesome Tribute, LanceMBFF747. It's a real Honour just to be able to see these Great Guys, all the brethren right along with those wonderful trucks, from vintage to present-day! I have so much regard & respect for THEE Fire Department everywhere! Of all the public service departments, firemen ARE the BEST! //~_~\\ [+] love Burce Hornsby!
I remember when the town siren would sound and you would call the fire phone to get the address and directions. I also remember when the oxygen plant caught fire and exploded. Acetylene and oxygen bottles split like banana peels.
@dwfunk4475 Thanks....yeah I remember that old town siren. Everyday at noon and 6pm. Amazing how things have really changed over the years. Glad you enjoyed the tribute.
ugh...still ain't come up with anything for a new vid, but i still love this vid to this day :) lookin forward to another vid from ya if ya ever do one..if we ever get out the Worland way, we'll have to meet up
been lookin and lookin and researchin, and still have not come up with anything more than what i have in my vid...kinda sucks..i want to update my vid but with nothin i can find, kinda makes it imposible..still love this vid tho!
really loved the slides and tunes. Really brings this all together really well. FYI you went to school with my brother and your brother went to school with me.
Thanks for the comment Brian! I believe they are the Fire Knight brand helmets. They stopped using them about 5-6 years ago and switched to Cairns. Hope that helps...Once again, thank you for the positive comment! Good to see that I can get some positive feedback from those overseas!
My dad passed away in March and watching your video was very meaningful for me. He was a Worland Firefighter for 26 years- my whole childhood. I have great memories of the people who were a part of that family and was so proud of my dad for being a firefighter. I miss him terribly but the video made me think about sitting on the firetrucks during the parades and how cool it was to be one of the kids whose dad's served the WFD. Thank you for honoring them!
I appreciate your comments as they were heartfelt; that is the whole reason that I had constructed it as it was a honor to those brave guys that put their community before themselves as WFD volunteer firefighters. Once again, Thank you.
Amazing video! It really honors your town! Im a firefighter in the Montreal, Canada area. How many calls do you get per year?

@Top10Mr Thanks for the comment. We end up get close to about 200-300 calls per year from everything to CO calls to structure fires.

Lance,
cool pictures, accompanied by some of the best music around, B.H.!! Fantastic all round. History of a town / department has a huge role to play.
What are the Euro style helmets in the later pics, I have to say, good forward thinking, far superior.
Keep up the great work,
Brian
