  • HELP ME KILL MY TIME, CUZ I'LL NEVER BE FINE!

  • I don't get why everyone isn't in love with him... why did it take me 16 years until i heard about him.. i like the same kind of music as my friends, but they don't have a clue about him, i don't understand... the only people i know who like him too are my sisters..MORE PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE HEARD HIS MUSIC

  • i wanted to put a a glass shred in my belly till i listened to this! now i will lay dow in the grass and watch the blue sky because 'im conforted

  • @jrod1112 Incorrect. Have you ever listened to "needle in the hay" the first song from his first album?

  • @inactiveboy The self-titled album wasn't the first he released.

  • charlie beat you up week after week and when you grow up your gonna be a freak

  • everything about this is beautiful.

  • I thought i'd heard all of Elliott's songs, damn i've been missing out. Why isn't this on any of the albums? And does anybody have any recommendations for other Elliott songs that aren't as well known like this one. Bravo Elliott!!

  • they say the meaning of the song is about his abusive stepdad. but i inferred it as his heroin addition. CHARLIE is slang for heroin and how he uses HELP ME KILL MY TIME

  • one of his best songs. and good drawings, man

  • some of your drawings remind me of Kathe Kollwitz

  • meant to be released on XO

  • Underrated gem by Elliot.

  • Everything that Elliott Smith did was gold, btw nice drawings =)

  • @purpledrohaze777 that is true, Elliott could never sing a bad song! and thanks!

  • @JonTheDandy i almost agree, but i have to say 'amity' is the only Elliott smith song i skip - the rest is gold

  • @williampatrickcorgan I used to skip Amity too, until I decided to listen past the intro. The intro gets a little annoying, I'll admit, but past that, it's awesome!

  • why is it he can sing the f word and it always scares me and moves me a little.

he was such a fierce little man.

  • @Sharpster7 music is not the same without him

  • @JonTheDandy It is all the same without him--all the same : )

  • @Sharpster7 He wasn't a little emo singer songwriter, he was a tough guy, a badass that just happened to write heartbringingly soft songs. That we can all appreciate!

  • @Sharpster7 the f word... he use so much and so perfectly.
