I don't get why everyone isn't in love with him... why did it take me 16 years until i heard about him.. i like the same kind of music as my friends, but they don't have a clue about him, i don't understand... the only people i know who like him too are my sisters..MORE PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE HEARD HIS MUSIC
I thought i'd heard all of Elliott's songs, damn i've been missing out. Why isn't this on any of the albums? And does anybody have any recommendations for other Elliott songs that aren't as well known like this one. Bravo Elliott!!
they say the meaning of the song is about his abusive stepdad. but i inferred it as his heroin addition. CHARLIE is slang for heroin and how he uses HELP ME KILL MY TIME
@williampatrickcorgan I used to skip Amity too, until I decided to listen past the intro. The intro gets a little annoying, I'll admit, but past that, it's awesome!
@Sharpster7 He wasn't a little emo singer songwriter, he was a tough guy, a badass that just happened to write heartbringingly soft songs. That we can all appreciate!
