It's kind of like the current guy - Valdimir Putin - who dreams of the death of America even though it's his own country that is at the greater risk. He hates us because he can never be us. Try though he might, he will always be a primitive power when matched with the USA. It is sad, but Putin would rather quarrel with us than work in unison for a genuine peace.
