lynch has been playing a lynhoff tele for a number of years. i think it was even mentioned he was working on a tele prototype from esp. the headstock on this one looks like the lynhoff with an esp sticker on it...but who knows. check out vids from the guitar generation tour with kotzen and gilbert, he plays a real 59 esquire.
I never heard of ESP before Lynch. It was thru Lynch that I came to know about ESP. But they are a huge company now. I was a huge Lynch fan when I started playing and always wanted an ESP because that is what he played.

Not only is it great to see george lynch play a rinky dinky guitar that belongs to the band and makng it sound great, but also to have him as a guest for a night and to play live for FREE. ESP has seen him play other guitars and they don't give a SH**! George gave ESP their recognition over the years. Without GL ESP isn't SH**! Would have been Kramer! I don't believe he played for free, lol, Lynch Mob opened for Dokken as well as some band from Florida 16 second stare, and I'm sure that telecaster was customized, regardless, I agree with you hotspot, he can play anything he wants as long as he plays it like that
@evlblue I have a stock Fender '88 American Tele and it does it all. They are just amazing guitars for any style of music. Play one sometime and see for yourself.
Having been a fan since '85 and seen George go through all his changes it's great to see him playing with what seems to be renewed enjoyment and inventiveness!! I've not seen him play Mr Scary with such passion for a long time...and sounding so great too! Thanks George!

What happened to the sound towards the end of this video? It was sounding great and all of a sudden it lost the good fidelity it had. Great video.
