  • i think people the ppl said that they wouldnt scam irl friends is because they probbaly know where they live 0.0

  • A friend is a friend. If you scam them, you never really were their friend.

The thing that hurts most isn't the fact they got their bank taken, it's the fact that they trusted you.

  • It doesn't matter how much you break it down and try to analyze this. At the end of the day, it's simple. It comes down to people. Anyone can sit here and say they wouldn't scam anyone wether its irl or the internet. However, not many people have had millions waved in front of their face. Some people will because of greed. Others will think about it, and decide it goes against their moral fibre. It's not an issue that can be resolved. People are the problem and the answer.

  • u could also think of this like how ppl go and troll youtube channels, the haters, who keep going back, they do what they do because they know they wont be caught for it, i doubt they would actually go up to the person irl and say what they say in the comments

  • but personally i agree with what arbit said

  • all we can get and dont care about the other person, especially if we wont get caught for doing it, or the other person cannot find you or do anything about it

  • i think the reason ppl scam ppl who arent their freinds irl is due to the anonymous of the internet. The reason they do it is because they know there are no repurcussions for their actions, they wont get caught or punished for what they have done, so they can do things they would not normally do irl. You can also relate this to stealing irl, if people think they wont get caught stealing something, they will go ahead and do it. Its something uniquly human where we want to take (continued)

  • no , the difference is if they are your irl friend is they can give u hell irl but people online can do shit! but i do not scam anyone lol it's just ik theres a reason

  • no , the difference is if they are your irl friend is they can give u hell irl but people online can do shit!

  • irl= in real life friend means you have life internet= internet life = no life real life > internet life

  • people only scam friends online because they know that person cant do anything "off" game.

  • they do it because theyre scared shitless of their irl friend beating them up cuz they know theyre a fag if they do that

  • i'd scam a botter all the way

  • A person is a person no matter what

  • its different if you irl friend brought/botted 10m and you scammed that then its ok because they didnt earn it

  • I would never scam any friend

  • What if they aren't a friend? O_o

  • If you scam a irl friend you have to face him..

    -Huqo

  • IN REAL LIFE runescape isn't real, you do not know who these people really are they could be pretending anything..I would never trust someone over the internet I suppose..

  • Irl friends are far different from e-friends. In real life, you know every aspect of that person and you know if you can trust that person or not. And chances if you allowed that person to be your friend, you trust that person very much. In runescape, you can only tell so many things about them. Generally altho, I wouldn't scam either types of friends.

  • lol i'd scam anyone, but then give it back after i used the money to flip items :p

  • Yeee:D

  • Bud, not to be an asshole, but your RS friends are most likely your only friends. get some fresh air, it's good for you :D

  • @hockeybroo no that is definitely being an asshole, no need to be patronising on someones video, that you clearly watch and benefit from, is there?

  • @Slashsuper I'm an asshole who tells it how it is.

  • I'd only have scammed scammers. They deserved worse than that, anyway.

  • Arby ur so fen smart bro

  • The difference is, It'll be akward when you meet them IRL, you don't know what they're gonna say, or what you're gonna say. I think that's the reason why most people wouldn't scam people known IRL.

  • This may sound sad, but if I befriend someone online, I treat them as I would an irl friend. Funny thing is, I talk more to these friends than my irl ones because they listen. They understand and help with problems as I would return the favour. They're just like friends irl to me and I would never scam anyone because it's dishonourable and you wouldn't steal a friend's money irl, why on a game? Where game gold is even less important.

  • perfectly said arbiterspar

  • you cant get jumped by a group of level 3 skillers on runescape

  • @legolas435 so true

  • @legolas435 lmao, made me laugh Lemar x D

  • @legolas435 o u

  • I'd scam a random kid who walked up to me ingame. ITS A GAME GET OVER IT AND DONT BE FUCKING RETARTED

  • @PwntsRocksU my thoughts exactly

  • i have had access to about 50m or so from my internet friends account and he did not even know that I had access to the account so he wouldn't know it was me, but i would feel bad scamming a friend internet or not. And i get it, 50mil is not that much but still was his bank

  • @BaRroWsDuDe i'm just trying to see who agrees with me you dumb fuck, i'm not a "thumbs up whore"

  • friend over the internet you've shared rs and youtube experiences with them...

irl you've shared your LIFE experiences with them everything...

and some ppl who say they wouldnt scam have enough money in rs they need thats why try someone with nothing or less than like 500k... i bet you would

  • id scam the guy who scammed u

  • fuck pixelhughers

  • I've been hosting dice for 6 months now so it's in my blood to not scam. o:

  • They can't beat you up!!!!!

  • I have amazing friends I've made on RS, I would never scam anyone tbh. But the people I've talked to in my clan and friends I've made in my home world mean a lot to me. Tbh, a lot of my internet friends are better than some of my irl friends.

  • @Hyperflarez thats where you have to draw the line you cant be attached to people over the internet. that defines you as a loser.

  • my friend scammed 300m in 1 day of free trade being out, two weeks ago he scammed 4m, so jagex reset his bank, i believe in karma 100%, his xbox also got red ring that day >.> gf.

  • If I scammed someone i would feel bad because...

If you worked hard for a santa and you scammed it they would probably be pissed as fuck..

If I had a santa that got scammed I would be pissed as fuck....

  • "i would never scam my friends i know so gud" yeah sure lets see how long it takes for u to log out if u get a phat trust trade

  • @aribiterspar im not gonna lie i scammed a reallllllllly good friend, the greed got 2 me after he lent me his bank and i spent it.After a few weeks i did frosts and started staking and managed 2 get the money i spent back but he deleted me should i return his money back?ofc i wont expect him 2 forgive me or is it a waste and i should move on?

  • Pals > Pixels

  • The ones who disliked and said that they wouldn't scam an irl friend but an online friends, would scam their friends if they coudn't find it out and beat them up the next day in school. They're just coward thieves.

  • those guys saying it is a difference means: if its on the internet they cant touch me and i can be the bully. but if its a irl friend they wiill punch me inthe face.

i liked the video, words of truth through aribi

  • i would never scam anyone but i think that people wouldnt scam people they know irl because then they would have to go look them in the face and admit they scammed them. but on rs they could just put them on ignore list and maybe block them on like skype if you talk and then you never see or hear from them again

  • I don't scam, never have never will. And I hope/expect the same from others when they owe money, for example:suicide keying.

  • I wouldnt even scam some1 I didnt know or who wasnt my friend.

  • Smite yo bgs will dislike bot this video if he saw it...

  • pixels>friends

  • id scam a scammer, just to give him the feeling of being scammed.

  • i see no difference i have a really close friend i meat over the internet and i plan on inviting him to my wedding some day :D

  • i know some1 who talked to some1 on skype and rs for like 3 months and after all of their hard work scammed them for a santa hat.

  • internet friends are different then real friends as if you scam a real life friend, they might get alot of people to hate you, which in a game is easy to overcome with the Ingore list, i myself wouldn't scam either and so *thumbs up*

  • @vemtion wow thats retarded...

  • main reason people would scam internet friends and not irl friends is because internet friends can't come to your house and kick your ass O_o

  • LISTEN UP EVERYONE. I SCAM AND LURE - THAT'S WHAT I DO NOOBS. IF YOU GET SCAMMED, DON'T GO AROUND SAYING BLA BLA BLA SCAMMED ME OH BOO HOO IT'S ALL HIS FAULT. NOOOOOOOOO IT'S YOUR FAULT FOR FALLING FOR IT. FOR EXAMPLE - IF YOU TRADE YOUR RUNE ARMOR TO A GUY WHO SAYS HE'S GONNA SCAM, THEN UR MORE STUPID THAT A FISH WITH NO HEAD.

INTERNET FREINDS CAN BE STRANGERS - THEY MIGHT SAY SOMETHING BUT TRUTH IS YOU'LL NEVER KNOW. IRL FRIENDS CAN NOT BE THE BEST

DONT TRUST FRIENDS OR INTERNET FRIENDS NOOBS

  • btw i don't have any friends on runescape...

  • They don't punch my face over the internet...

  • I was a victim in one of these situations where a 'friend' scammed me 22m. At that point in my Runescape-life 22m wasn't that much to me, but it was the principle. I asked him why, and told him they were just pixels, and his reply was 'well you are just pixels to me'... Just thought you'd like to know.

  • and if you scam soeone over the itnernet, you just block them on skype/vent/fb, watever, and put them on your ignore ingame. scamming an irl friend you cant avoid, because you will most likely end up seeing them sooner or later.

  • Someone over the internet, you don't really know well, you know them from over the computer not in real life, and knowing someone in real life is a lot different to over the internet. Most peple wouldnt scam someone they knew irl because they would see them a lot , but never would they ever see the person who they talk to over the internet.

  • Just A Game Dude..

  • scamming is sad

  • i would never scam anyone even if i hated them that much

    1) its classed as stealing

2)think about the ammount of time they wasted getting that money

    and

    3) u would lose a friend........

tbh scaming is stupid theres nothing to gain from it and dont say u gain money/items im telling u it might be good for the first day but tbh i think you would start to miss that friend!!!!

  • Never scam anybody in any way. It's not nice.

  • Today I logged onto rs to find out my best rs bud used recoveries to get on my account used a pincracker to get in my bank and cleaned it along with my 3 chaotics :c

  • I don't have many friends on rs. Most of my friends are either long time friends from as far back as 2005, of people who I've gotten to know very well over the past 1 or 2 years. I've known those people far too long to ever think of scamming; they trust me as I trust them.

Even if I didn't know the person, I'm still not going to scam because.

    1. I didn't earn the item myself.

    2. They put their effort into getting it.

So why take that away from them? Its sad if you scam, its basically stealing.

  • internet friends make you type lol and real life friends make you laugh and really happy; so typing lol is not important, but really laughing is essential in life ... dat y i scam internet friend

  • There are some people that I have known longer from rs compared to those I know irl. Mainly because I had to move to an entirely different state after I had already been playing rs. I may not know them as well as people I know irl, but I've known them longer and wouldn't scam them.

  • i would scam a frend i dont know that good over internet but some1 i don't know that good i would scam

  • who needs friends when u have a 100B+ bank scamming FTW!

  • @KidGogetaSSj fag

  • @herostasman i was joking bro

  • Scamming is still wrong morals are morals and If you don't use them everywhere your not going to use them anywhere

  • i think people scam people that they dont know irl because irl their pussy's and know if they scamemd their irl friend they'd get their ass kicked or something, but if it's someone u dont know ,u can take the advantage that it's not going to affect u irl. I would never scam either way because ur bascily taking people's time and effort and thats bullsht

  • well... people that are on my friends list on rs are not really my friends thats my scam list really...

  • @blaze5225 well that means ur a fuckin pussy and ur probably 15

  • E-friends are still friends., they trust you and enjoy your company (i would hope)

anyone who would abuse that is a complete dick.

  • He says, "Even JUST a Santa Hat..."

  • Simple. Irl friends you have to face at some point, Internet friends you can delete and ignore them. You're safe behind your monitor and don't have to feel bad about what you just did. Friends are friends no matter what

  • if u scam someone in the game u its over u got it if u scam somone u no in irl they would get there ass beat

  • @blaze5225 I would scam a irl friend because my friends arent fags and don't rage over pixels.

  • the difference is that you can talk shit and be tough over the internet. But IRL you would act totally different. Especially if you were the smaller person

  • Their not "still a friend," though. My friends list is made up irl friends and people who I have pked with/diced with/got phr33 stoof from.

  • A lot o my ingane friends are better than my irl friends, and they're real people. Its totally wrong to do that to anyone, especially friends

  • some of you might recognize this ;) ok, this is america there is no reason to lie cheat steal unless you want to be awesome but dont fuck people over to get to the middle you betray everything america is about we didnt throw britains tea into the ocean because we wanted to be a mediocre country and we didnt let those fuckers line up in a line and then shoot them in the back because we didnt want to be one of the best countries in the world and we're not giving china an IOU
  • @EquinoxFlare

because we plan on actually paying them back

this is america, the land of opportunity to fuck people over

to take what isnt yours but only if you plan on getting to

the top of the mountain and waving what you have

and they dont in their face

    thats america

  • You're welcome.

  • A person on runescape is just some person that has probably lied about every aspect of their life to you. I wouldn't deem them as a friend until about 2 years into the contact with them, even then I would scam them.

The main reason I see is why not? As people can clearly see, there are no consequences for actions over the internet, which I feel is the problem. If Jagex implemented a ban rule for every scammer rather than receiving the report due to their machines, I might have a different view.

  • and what if u scam the scammer ?

  • The reason people would scam they re friend they dont know irl, is because they re too much of a coward to go face to face with that person after they scammed them. :P

    Pixels<Friends all the way

  • Thumps up is Pixel are your friends hahah :D

  • I won't scam any of my friend, IRL or not, because they are my friends, that I don't like to take other people's stuff and that I know how it feels to be scammed.

    Friends > Pixels

  • i dont scam people coz i no how it feels to be seriously scammed, and just coz i hav been doesn't give me a reason or a free pass to scam someone, just coz someone scams u it dont giv u the rite to scam, and just shows that people who do scam cant play and hav ruined the true runescape

  • cuz if they knew em irl, theyd get banged in

  • myturn2pk chose pixels when he scammed me for my bank =(

  • For me it kinda depends how good of a friend I am with them on the Internet. Some of my rs friends I don't really talk to that often I would probably scam them if they trusted me with something, and I know that sounds bad, but it's a cold world and with the way runescape is now anyway, chances are they earned the item/money dishonorably anyways; scamming, botting, rwt'ing, ect. Still love ur vids arib but that's just my opinion, think of it as you please.

  • I would never scam anyone. I just don't see the point.

  • @blaze5225 i agree with u plus agree with arby.. friends are FRIENDS right?

  • I need gps..... I don't care where they came from

  • scamming's just gay sad and nerdy, no one should do it, it hurt's people and looses you rep. thumbs up if you agree with me!!

  • @pkaldous bugabuse.net

  • @pkaldous thumbed down for being a thumb up whore. quit saying obvious things and expect to get thumbs up

  • @pkaldous Word.

    I agree with you

But try telling that to the kids in this game

They'll just be like 'stfu noob'

  • @blaze5225 yeah... kinda the reason o.0.. it's so easy for them ... kids are greedy and don't like to grind cash etc... that is why 10 years old don't go to work... and do not have high iq o.0 not develuped yet o.0... ohh well retards = most people of the world retards = people that go the easy way = people that should been dead o.0... stupid medisins etc : - ( makes all the noobs suvive

  • cuz most people are cowards and they knew they would not be able to pull that scamming shit with there real life friends.

how many people would kick your friends ass irl if they scammed you.

but me personally i rather not have but so much of a connection with online friends there's in real life friends people who iv'e grown up with and there just people i know on a game either way im not gonna scam them.

  • @blaze5225 Not if u carry a gun on you l0l0l0l0l0l0l0l

  • @ZuroFtw

    at school?

  • @CMOODO yeaa bro :P

  • @ZuroFtw

    lolol

  • people say "y scam it's just pixels" if i sell it for rl money then it's not just pixels it's money in ur pocket #nohonor

  • y scam? its just a game. -.- my rs friends r trusted i trust them with items i cherrish etc.

  • @zuddah1

Like you said, it's just a game

  • there not irl friends so fuck'em. nuff said

  • u wouldnt scam them its not worth it there just pixels

  • I think if you scam in general, not to friends but to anyone, you're just a little bitch. Man up and get your own items/money.

  • I have only scammed 1 person, reason being they were a former irl friend and a major dick/bully to my friends and I during middle school. 2 months after I scammed them for 70m they rwted turmoil/91 herb supplies and 100m aswell as botting 80-94 Mage. Now he has buttbuddies of his harassing me for 70m that he probably got illegitimately in the first place

  • tbh im not sure theres certain people i would that im not so close to like friends i dont tlk to in voice over skype people im not as close to i would scam but the ones i talk to daily i have never scammed and we trust each other to trade over claws and pvm gear

  • A scammed santa hat can buy you alot of things, an ags, some herblore and prayer lvls even a couple of hybrid high risk gears. But what it won't buy you are the hours you use talking to someone on skype, joking around with a pal or just having an event with people. I've met some decent people on this game, some that I can trust my bank with and even though I'm not as active as I used to be the ones I added to facebook I still chat to. Santa hats are limited but so are friends.

  • if u dont know them irl they cant beat the shit out of u lol

  • i wouldnt scam for one reason which i stick by how would u feel if u got scammd for how much,if u scam think how the person who workd for the item feels and if they did it to u wat would u do.

  • I would never ever scam, but I see why people would scam people they don't know IRL.

They have to face the person they know IRL and would have to confront them about it eventually. But if you only see them on a game, you can throw them on your ignore and never have to bother with them again.

  • @tyromaniac61 So it's not because they're your friends, its because there are consequences? That's still pretty cold.

  • @SpelignErrir Hey, I never said I would scam ever. I'm just saying if I ever did, that's just how I see it.

  • the difference is that you have met and spent time with an irl friend and you trust eachother, but you've never even met a runescape friend so you don't know if you can trust them and you don't feel as bad scamming them. but its just losing something in a game, if you fall for a scam its your own fault

  • If you are really friends with someone over the internet, you will treat them like any other friend you have. If don't really care about the person enough to not scam them, they aren't really a friend.

  • disagree

  • *Thumps down*

Reason; with irl friends you drink smoke, and so other crazy shit together with friends over the internet you can only talk and most of the time you don't even know what the person looks like ;)

  • @impactkidftw So with IRL friends you can slowly kill yourself and ruin your public image?

  • @Zerlker yep if u enjoy your life i suppose so

  • Obviously you have more respect for people that you know IRL, but as far as morals go, theres no difference at all between people in game and IRL. And to the people that say "Well I don't know them so it doesn't really matter", keeping that logic in mind it's perfectly OK to walk into someones home, take their money, and leave, because hey, they're just strangers right?

  • @LavaaaaaaRS I've known some of my internet friends as long, if not longer than my IRL friends and I respect them just as much, if not more. I agree with everything else you said though. ;)

  • @Zerlker I wish I could say the same but all of my friends from pre '05 or '06 have quit by now...but if they still played im sure i'd haev just as much respect for them as I would my IRL friends

  • One reason why i play rs is because of some of the friends i've made. If I scammed them and ignored them i would have little reason to play. So scamming to me is just stupid

  • i wouldn't scam anyone i was scammed once from a close friend and ever since then ive been more careful and helped others i talk to irl and ingame friends so you cant scam them you know them :)

  • Because you only wear one shirt

  • See, that's where I disagree. Some people do work for their stuff, but dicer's/stakers aren't really working for it, they depend on luck. Another thing is the level of botting. Probly 5/7 bots are other accounts that people made to bot for them to make money for their main. If my friend randomly goes for 20m to 500m in a day and i have a chance to scam them, idk, they didn't work for it, obviously, so why would it matter?

  • @iliketomodcod

    doesnt matter.

    FRIENDS > PIXELS.

  • i thumbed down this video because im jealous of you and i just lost 94% of my bank (i actually calculated it out, i now have 3m left)

  • @baums5808 He was hacked and lost all of his bank. Including partyhat.

  • At the end of the day its just a game, but if you are that kinda person that would take someones things of them, how would you feel? huh, don't lie you'd hate it be upset, feel down.

  • Scammers all they do is just get other people's money and when they get it they think oh yeah im cool now cause I took that dude's stuff basically the same thing as someone breaking in someone's house irl. If you wouldn't want someone do it to you why would you do it to them what goes around comes around.

  • people are assholes its just pixels...

  • people say they'd scam someone who don't know their personal details cause they are scared/ assholes...

  • I wouldnt scam

  • A person on the internet can do nothing to get it back. at all.

  • @Tomisqwer Really? Virus's can locate you lol.

  • @FantascapeRS The poll was made using the like/dislike system, so of course he cared about them on that video o_o

  • I wouldnt scam any 'friend' irl or internet, but i would

easily just scam people on internet

  • There is a similarity. Most people would not scam their internet friends if they have been friends for a while. People don't scam their irl friends because the friendship is more tight. The similarity is the connection you have between your friends. Most people don't really get to know each other well over the internet, which means that it does not provide a strong friendship connection, which means scamming them would feel a lot easier.
