Nice build. Just pulled the trigger on a S1 frame on ebay. Im gonna build it up with force and chineese carbon tubulars 50mm. Whats the weight on your bike?

I was close to purchasing an S1 last year, but instead went with the Litespeed Xicon...only because I was craving Ti. I had already had aluminum in the past with my Cannondale R800 and wanted something different. I still want the S1 though. It's sad this bike has been discontinued, a true classic.

Nice ride man. We almost have the same set up. The only thing different is I ride a 2011 Cannondale Super Six. As of right now I love my Super Six with Rival.

Great video, love this bike. I rode a 2009 S1 and could not believe it was only $2,200.00. I had also ridden a Felt F3 with Sram Red on it the same day. The S1 with Ultegra was a much more responsive bike then the $4,000.00 Felt F3 with Sram Red. The Red grouppo was just so much better then the Ultegra group, but the S1 frame was hands down better. I cant wait to get my S1 frame and build it with RED and a set of Easton EC 90 wheels.

this bike is amazing. I cant wait to order my S1. I am a bit torn between getting the Record 11 or Sram gruppo. The Rival does look really good but I think the Red would look even tighter because of the colors of the frame. I Like Campy Record or Chorus because it looks classic just like this frame does. Thanks for the footage! I cant wait to start riding this bike.
