  • what is a straw poll?? What does this mean??

  • Lie! Ron Paul serves as a Republican do this day, not just from 1977-1984.

  • 99% of all statistics are fake :P

Still I'd be very happy if Ron Paul was president.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • I will bet you 2015 the one dollar bill will be worth nothing!!!!

  • I was in college during the 2008 elections. It was a strange experience. Most of the students who had demanding majors, were schooled in politics, were articulate and passionate supported Ron Paul. The majority of the imbeciles who got drunk every night, studied communications w a C- gpa, and were generally clueless about everything voted for Obama. Suffice to say, there were just far more people in the later demographic.

  • Fox news needs a new map. They identified Oklahoma as Lousiana. XD

  • @trapspeed97 omg that was funny

  • ATTENTION AMERICAN PEOPLE RON PAUL IS BRAINWASHING AND PROMISISNG YOU JOBS, HE FROGOT THAT POPULATION OF CHINA IS 1.4 B, HE IS SELLING HIS BOOK AND MAKES ALOTS OF MONEY, RON PAUL DELIVERED OVER 4000 BABIES IF ANY OF YOU HAVE SCOLIOSIS(CURVE OF THE SPINE DUE TO CHILDBIRTH) BECAUSE OF RON PAUL , WE WILL FILE A LAWSUIT, PLEASE DONT TAKE ANTIDEPRESSANTS AND BE SAD IN UR BED , WAKE UP LET HIM PAY FOR YOUR CURVED BACK DOESNT MATTER HOW MANY DEGREES IS YOUR SCOLIOSIS. PSYCHOS HAVE NO EMPATHY !

  • Government shouldn't be in the welfare business? Did I misunderstand Ron Paul? Did he mean state governments should handle welfare?

Because I STRONGLY believe that government has an obligation to help the people of America, so how is welfare wrong?

  • @sumskater999 You did misunderstand him. FEDERAL government should be limited, taxing people to pump money into a program that is inefficient and often times goes to fruads and leeches is not the responsability of the federal government, it's left up to the states. If the dollar was connected to gold, things wouldn't be so damn expensive and people could get an education easily, what's stopping the poor people for going to school and getting a career? Laziness. This is capitalism. Not communism.

  • @gegilso No, what stops poor people from going to school and getting a career is actually a shitty economy where it's impossible to find a decent-paying job and college loans that amount to over a $100,000.

And America happens to be not capitalist, but PART capitalist and PART socialist. Freedom of business is capitalism, and socialized programs are representative of communism. The funny thing is, it's easier to become a successful entrepreneur in China or India than it is in America.

  • @sumskater999 your first paragraph, I disagree with, I was paying rent at 14 and I completely supported myself at 16. I worked many underpaying jobs, and I went to high school, which was free. I needed to work because my mother had 13 children and I had to support myself because she was bankrupt. I payed my mother money so she could pay rent, until I moved out at 16, found a guy who would let me sign a contract and pay rent. I saved money, with my second job, and payed for my own education...

  • @gegilso I live in the SF bay area and real estate is ridiculously expensive here. I know several people who can barely make rent working over 8 hours a day; forget education.

Did you go to college? And you've paid your entire college education on underpaying jobs?

The subprime mortgage crisis is another indicator. People just couldn't pay back the interest. I'm pretty sure if it meant their house, people wouldn't be lazy. Yet many foreclosures still occurred.

  • @sumskater999 people used to work through summers and pay for their education. and even getting a loan is better than not going to school at all, like so many people do. My point is, the people who choose to sit on their asses and collect unemployment are leaches. I saw my best friend loose his house because his father lost his job and sat on his ass for 2 years collecting unemployment and welfare when the man was more than qualified to get to work. If it were my family, I'd work at mcdonalds..

  • @gegilso I agree that getting a loan is still better, but it is a huge discouragement. In other countries, education is dirt cheap. In many countries, one semester's worth of American college funds an entire four-year program. You're dead right about the dollar's disconnection with gold being the problem.

You're also right there are lazy people, but just because there are doesn't mean we shouldn't help the actual hardworking poor people who can't make ends meet.

  • @sumskater999 ...robbed, twice. I understand, if you are living in SF area the prices are too high and your pay is too low. California is one of those places where the ratio of income/cost of living is out of proportion. I lived by myself for a while, then went to a dorm where I had to pay less, so I could save up for my college. But I went to a community college where it was cheaper. And in summers I got a second job. I have no idea what a family would do. I'm not saying it's easy, but what ron

  • @sumskater999 Your second paragraph is spot on. However this doesn't have to be like this. I beleive having a healthy balance, like 80% cap, and 20% soc, but that 20% is in regulation, not services. We need to regulate the federal reserve so they can't screw with the economy. But we don't need to tax everyone so we can give impovershed people money. Or tax us so we have inefficient education systems. If you let local governments run systems like this, they manage the money better.

  • @gegilso Right. I think the income tax should be abolished, like what Ron Paul says, and made up by drastically cutting spending. I consider myself liberal, but I just hate how the Democrats want to always raise taxes to support the American empire. No income tax would provide relief in the right way to everybody.

But somehow prices need to come down for health care, education, etc. I have no idea how, but it's ridiculously more expensive in America than anywhere else.

  • @sumskater999 I find we agree on more things than we disagree. My wife is from china, and education there is dirt cheap like you say. Our problem is our cost of living. I have to blame the devauling of our dollar for most of our problems, and why education and housing is do damn expensive. Think about this, if you "make" money you don't have, it's worth less, and because of this, prices go up. But you don't get a raise. you still make the same. Then you get taxed on that money. You are being...

  • @sumskater999 is saying is that if you get rid of the fed, and monetary policy, and don't mess with the economy and allow business more freedom and tax breaks, there really isn't a need for a welfare system. Prices will drop as there is more competition. I just have no sympathy for lazy people. There are hard workers out there, and I really hope our dollar gets better so they might actually be able to survive in SF and other places with the same ratio issue.

  • @sumskater999 Aother thing on other countries. China doesn't have a welfare system. They are actually more capitalistic than we are right now. They survive by something you wouldn't really think about. Family. Their family is their welfare system. My wife's parents have shelled out thousands of dollars to family members in times of need. They take care of each other. Often times, parents work 7 days a week 12 hours a day, so they can pay for their children's education. If you compared our work

  • @sumskater999 ethic with theirs, we'd be a little embarrassed. So again I have no sympathy for a welfare system. :(

  • @gegilso Yeah I agree. Americans do need to work harder to keep our economy on top. At the current rate, we'll soon be outdone by China and India.

I believe China actually does have kind of a welfare system, 30-80% of their $7 health care is funded by the government and the rest by patients. But in China they're well taken care of by the government for necessities, and their salary is basically for what they WANT to buy rather than NEED to buy. And salaries and prices are very low.

  • @sumskater999 medicare and welfare are totally different beasts. China doesn't take care of people's necessities. They still have to pay for their homes, food, bills, wants, and needs. and there are millions of dirt poor people in china who have less than most low income americans. Medicare in china is totally expensive there too in relation to their income. It might seem cheap to us, but to them it's about the same percentage maybe a little less costly. They can get away with that because...

  • @sumskater999 we let drug and medical companies control how much they want to sell their equipment. They mark-up their products like 600% of the cost to make them. Most other countries don't do this. That's why Canada can afford to pay for their health care. The supplies are cheaper because the government regulates the drug and medical equipment companies. I'm not against regulation like this. I'm against taxing me 100 or more dollars a month for someone else.

  • @gegilso Totally agree. Health care and education prices need to be regulated.

  • @sumskater999 Feed*

  • @sumskater999 one final note. Never feen a wild animal... they become dependent on you. If you don't give people help, you'll be surprized at how resoursful and hard working and responsible they will become on their own.

  • Ron Paul is the one conservative who's views I can understand, even if I don't agree with all of it.

The Republican party has become a bunch of insane nuts who just choose to oppose the Democratic Party in every way.

Ron Paul is the first Republican I've seen since Eisenhower who remains true to an actual conservative standard set by Lincoln.

  • obama = wall street

  • seems like FOX NEWS is the only thing keep paul from winning the presidency

  • RON PAUL 31 %????

TO BE HONEST THIS GUYS LOOK LIKE A VERY GOOD OPTION SINCE MY CONSTITUTION IS UNDER ATTACK.

  • The more I hear Ron Paul the more I like him! He's the only one talking about real issues such as: the 911 hoax, bilderberg, the federal reserve, etc.... If the election were today I would definitely vote for him! I appreciate his willingness to address the total truth! The other politicians don't say anything about the cfr, the trilateral commission, or ending the federal reserve. It's like they are all bought and paid for and they simply want US to pretend like these issues don't exist.

  • Ron Paul should CALL OUT Fox news for editting video and their effort to discredit and minimalize him!

  • if you vote for some one cause of their age your a moron. they ilke paul cause of issues.

  • @robaquarian Relax Junior, I was replying to the guy that pointed out that these FAUX NEWS idiots labeled O.K. as LA.

Ron Paul is the last hope for this country .

And it may very well be too late.

  • @z8it ron paul is not the last hope. we are. the people need to wake up and take the country back. hes an important leader but hes just 1 person. also there are other peeple like kucinich, nader etc on the left that fight for the constituionton, are against the fed and agree with paul on issues that matter. im not a conservative but i also dont buy into the false right left paradigm. even though im aliberal id vote for paul before id vote for a corporate whore like Obama.

  • Ron Paul we all love you, good and honest Man,,,Peace and Love to all ...

  • Solution: Boycott Fox News sponsors! watch?v=U3F055E9d-M

  • The Constitution scares FOX reporters.

  • Did anyone else notice that they listed Oklahoma (OK) as LA (Louisiana) on the background map?

  • @rtgoodson OMG! that's hysterical!

That is so typical of the fact checking of the faux news PROPAGANDA MILL! real genius' running that out-fit , huh?

unfair and unbalanced... pure bullshit brought to you by morons.

  • I agree with 98 % of what Ron Paul has to say - I think if prople bothered to check out his views, the majority of Americans would vote for Ron .

  • A heart filled with Liberty will always be young.

  • I hate how people say he has no chance of being president, when its extremely clear its what the majority of republicans want. What point is our voting system if the popular vote means nothing?

  • What makes you a front runner??? I would love an answer to that one.

  • This liberal will vote for RON PAUL 2012!!!!

  • @phillisthebarbarian this conservative will vote for Ron Paul 2012. release all non-violent drug offenders day one. brings troops home immediately. secure our borders. smackdown on the FED.

  • In the UK even the BBC say that Sarah Palin is the poster girl of the TEA Party, they never even mention Ron Paul.

Partly because the (socialist) BBC can't work out why anyone would want less government, and partly, they'd hate it to catch on here.

  • Our future president of the Unites States of America Ron Paul

  • Paul won again! Maybe there's hope after all?

  • i dont want paul to win, even though i like him, i want Barrack again i feel like barrack is wayyyy to underrated

  • @1yearyounger you need to look at his voting record and see what his agenda is before you make a really dumb statement like that! WOW!!

  • Wow, I am suprised FOX even aired this!

  • This woman is being a punk to Ron Paul.

  • If you are an American and do not support war or huge bailouts you need to vote for Ron Paul. If he don't run wright him in. Boycott the the politicians who run for the money and not for America.

  • Governor Mitt Romney is a RINO. He supports stringent gun laws. His Massachusetts Health care overhaul pales in comparison to the atrocity of Obamacare, but it was similar. He has never expressed public regret for this. He told Michigan residents at an event there that the financial services bailout was absolutely necessary. He stated you said that the Republican Party needs to pass "immigration reform" (amnesty) in order to attract new voters.

    .

    Allen West 2012

  • Republican party nomination notwithstanding... Dr., Paul, YOU HAVE MY VOTE. If I have to, I'll write you in. God bless you.

  • Why is Oklahoma on the map in the background have an "LA" and not an "OK" for the abbreviation.

  • Young people move nations and I look forward to voting for you Mr. Paul in 2012!

  • yeah but fox will stab him in the back just watch, just as worse in 2008 just watch

  • Sarah Palin is getting added to Jeff Foxworthy's 'RedNeck Dictionary.' As in "Sarah Palin comparison to Ron Paul for the 2012 Presidential nomination."

  • sorry america but i'v never voted but 2012 i would sure do so if ron runs i'll be there 100%

  • @msga361 vote for him in the primaries to and you'll have a better chance of voting for him at that time.

  • i voted for ron paul in the primaries.....it kind of irritates me that the media is contacting him now, when the same media shunned and criticized him during his campaign. i still think he is right and i will vote for him again if he runs.

  • @lileeza I'm less anoyed because he gets more screentime. It's free publicity to spread the message

  • HAIRBALL !!! 3:58

  • If I could vote for the United States, I would vote for Ron Paul.

  • FOX wouldn't give Ron Paul the time of day during the last Presidential primaries. Phonies liars. The media is controlled by the CFR.

  • Sigh....

Ron Paul... I want to vote for you...

I like his vision of "real" change in the structure of government. However, throwing out a whole class of people on "welfare" without offering an alternative is horribly unappealing. I can't imagine converting a whole subpopulation of millions of struggling people to homeless vagrants.

I do favor the small spending and retraction of troops though... I would like to hear how you would revitalize the economy. So many industries evaporated-too many

  • @0k123jump

Ron Paul has always said that anyone who paid any money into social security or any other welfare programs would be taken care of. He has always said that he wouldn't take away welfare from people who have become dependant on it.

  • your next obama!!!

  • He will be one of the few great leaders in History.

  • ron paul 2012

  • WTF?!? at 1:00 why do they have oklahoma labeled as LA?!?!?!? cmon fox get on the ball.

  • Will he run 2012?

  • @purplekiwi115 He has not openly admitted it, but he certainly will.

  • The internet is going to be what sets America free... Ron Paul 2012... Of course young people like Ron Paul he is one of a few youtube heros... We need you Ron Paul!!!

  • It's my dream to see Ron Paul go against Barrack Obama in the 2012 presidential debate. Obama is, admittedly, better than Bush and a compelling speaker, but you can't defend lies from someone who knows the truth.

  • RON PAUL Restore the Republic NOW! RON PAUL is the leadership this country needs! And Representation for We the People! Individual liberty, Rights and Freedom! Ron Paul 2012

  • Everyone who has a brain loves Ron Paul he is a very rare politiian hes honest he cares for everyone not just wall st intrests & too big to fail b/s

  • Won he trounced them

  • Hey Ron Paul supporters,

We could use your help stopping the Cap & Trade legislation & the Global Warming charade.

Gore was chief cheerleader for the NAFTA & WTO creation which destroyed multiple tens of millions of good paying jobs & now is pushing the GW charade & Cap & Trade so he can cash in with his Goldman Sachs business shyster pals.

Please take a look at this important issue. They have faked data & spent many millions to promote this crisis creation

    Thanks all

    CLIMATEDEPOT(dot)com

  • Ron Paul definitely has my vote if he runs in 2012.

  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • hell yeah Ron Paul! We need a person like Ron Paul or Ron Paul himself to run as president.

  • The question of whether or not people will support Ron Paul comes down to whether or not they will let themselves be distracted by yellow journalism and media hype about "Ron Paul doesn't support the war on terror" because he promotes a non-interventionist foreign policy or "Ron Paul is a racist" because he doesn't support Social Justice and entitlements. The truth is that a lot of Americans are very easily distracted by that kind of sensationalism.

  • RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!!

  • The fact that Ron Paul was the only Republican to vote against the Iraq War Resolution should attract the antiwar crowd among Democrats, Independents and college age voters.

  • Here all along, the Dems have been so terrified that Sarah Palin would get the nod, they couldn't see who the real players were.

  • RON PAUL PLEASSSSE RUN IN 2012!!!

  • Paul needs to run for Gov of Texas, and when Texas become a constitutional utopia, the rest of the country will fall in line. Drive out the illegals, abolish income taxes..etc

  • Ron Paul has been waiting too long to become president. It's his time to take the power and give it back to the people of this damn country!

  • @Darkestsides

This is quite a turnaround, given the short shrift the Republicans gave Ron Paul when he ran for president (likewise, Mitt Romney). They say better late than never, but I fear it's much to late for the GOP to wake up, given that Paul will be 77 in 2012. His son, Rand, might have a much better chance. I hope he goes for it.

  • @dyad2r1 Yeah, that's true. Ron Paul really isn't no spring chicken. Age also seemed to be a concern when John Mccane was running for presidency. But, unlike Mccane Paul seems to still have great charisma, and is more then capable to still smash debates out of the park.

You should watch his interview on Larry king the one that Jesse ventura guest hosted, it was very interesting.

  • @Darkestsides

Thanks, I'll look it up. I was shocked to see him stumbling around like a much older man. I think the torture he was subjected to as a POW took a heavy toll on his body. And then he had that recurring melanoma on his temple .....

  • RuPaul has a better chance at being the next President than this 77 year old dinosaur.

  • because he inspiring, unlike Palin, McCain, Romney, Huckabee, H.Clinton or Obama

  • Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Anybody but OBAMA or PALIN! Someone who wants to help the USA not fucking kill it!

  • lol finally ron paul has more support in that poll atleast from people more than the douchenag romney or that extremely retarded bitch sarah palin.

  • you're retarded if you believe that

  • @ju88ff nice troll there buddy

  • why do u think that

  • vote for ron paul!!!! he is REAL change.2012

  • Most of us Americans are living in a fantasy world, Ron Paul is making too much sense.

  • fantasy like North American Superhighway ?

  • She is really hot. YEA RON PAUL!!!!

  • The World needs you Ron Paul. Run 2012

  • @pusherman19 and we Ron Paul supporters need to look into this gary johnston, How do we do this?

  • @pusherman19 yes even Canada wants Ron Paul !!! to bad I cant vote :(

  • Is it just me or isn't OK above TX, and not LA!!!!? IDIOTS at Fox!

  • @jejii81 that is right OK is above and LA to the right. ha ha ha

  • even I noticed that and im from Hungary.. LOL

  • I feel its essential that Ron Paul is the next US President, unfortunately I don't think the elite will let this happen. Here in the UK we have no such voice, the worst is still to come I'm afraid. My thoughts and hopes are with you Ron Paul, the people of the World need your sanity and honesty.

  • Check out UKIP's Nigel Farage....

2008 was just a warm up GO RON PAUL 45,12

  • You have a choice to make, you can make a deal with the devil or fight for true freedom!! You will be thrown under the bus by your manager or you will be held accountable by the PEOPLE!!

  • Ron Paul 2012. OR

Body scans are going in. The elite politicians do not care about your civil rights or you. If they did they would have scrapped socialized healthcare, chemtrail spraying and body scanners.... They would have held the FBI accountable for the "agent who escorted the UWB on the plane. Please wake up!! If you are an insider, you are a scapegoat and a pawn for the elite and you are in more danger than the general public. !

  • Hispanic Americans For Ron Paul 2012!!!!!!

  • So...Ron Paul is definitely a joke since he believes in fiscal responsibility, right? He wants to stop our undeclared wars, use of torture and secret prisons...yep, that's pretty psycho! He thinks we "occupy" Iraq and Afghanistan...that is a very subversive idea, and it's anti-semetic (as Ben "The Jagoff" Stein told him on Larry King). If we listen to Ron Paul then we will never be able to start the global war that will make Jesus come back. Ave Satanas!

  • Ron Paul supporters all have a common passion,

however they are not all the same, not all young..

Not all potheads, and not all "Psycho"

They all know they got a mission, spread the word, and some will get psycho in the processs.

"This debt will do us all in." - Ron Paul

  • @RonPaulRepublic You can count me as Ron Paul POTHEAD and proud of it!

  • @DrWizardMan

Ron Paul will be the president

i havent stopped speaking about him to everyone i know

  • The US is so bloated with legislation that it's about to collapse. Success would be to repeal and block further legislation. It's time to do some spring cleaning and eliminate 80% of it and keep only the useful 20%

  • He probably won only because he's in the John Birch Society, they cosponsored CPAC. JBS and the western goals foundation can't be trusted.

  • NoLib. What have you done? Save of coarse sitting jerking your dick trying to figure out how to piss off people who feel differently than you. We all have our opinions. The fact that libertarians and the Ron Paul Revolution have inspired a sit at home do nothing such as yourself to take a handle of "nolib" tells me Ron Paul is doing something right. So you keep fighting the good fight, and we'll keep wishing you'd die in a horrible car car crash your mother witnesses.

  • Ease up man, you're making Ron Paul fans look psycho.

  • They are psycho. i think a lot of it is the pot. But you are correct, they are indeed his biggest enemies

  • you know you are right. What I said was in response to NoLib. saying "what meaningful legislation has he past?" Perhaps I should approach this differently. NoLib. Im sorry. I don't hope your mother sees you die in a car wreck. Let me ask this though; since when is getting meaningful legislation passed a prerequisite for becoming President? What is meaningful legislation? What is psycho about upholding the Constitution?

  • This man speaks to the basic every day, ordinary, hard working, average American, he speaks of freedoms, personal rights for adults to be able to choose for themselves what they do with their body instead of the feds regulating it.

    PLEASE RUN PAUL,USA NEEDS YOU.

  • Love all the RP has such great ideas comments. Yet in his long career the man can't get a bill passed with all his brilliance. RP=Failure

  • failure says the internet troll..

  • So what decent legislation has he passed

  • Unlike most power hungry in Washington, Ron Paul's primary goal isn't to pass legislation. His goal is prevent it and repeal most of it to give us our freedoms back and allow business to hire people domestic and turn the ecconomy around with sound money and a humble foreign policy.

  • Bullshit

  • @NoLibertarian Nice come back sparky, how's pointless reactionary mindless internet trolling treating you?

  • Go Ron Paul!

Oh and God damn she's fine!

  • christian right and media doesnt like him, so he cant be president

  • @GPunktmod- I think the right just doesn't know enough about him. He's the biggest pro life person weve had for a while, and hes been married over 50 years to the same person. Both traits are liked by the right.

  • Ron Paul, village idiot with a history of legislative failure.

  • @NoLibertarian- Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. If Ron is president he will continue to allow you to share your opinion even if we disagree with you.

  • Ron will never be President. WTF are you smoking. And I will be able to share my opinion no matter who the hell gets elected. You can stop your police state BS.

  • Read some of Ron Pauls books and see for yourself how good this guys ideas are!

  • Ron Paul would be a huge improvement over the current administration in 2012. However his theory and arguments are not perfect; he is still far from wise. He would represent an attempt to move from tyranny back to democracy, at least our republican form thereof. Let us not forget, even in a time of such jubilation, that we received our current tyranny through democracy. That democracy itself is therefore the cause of our problems, as it is likely to decay into tyranny.
