It's nice to hear the shouting. I wish we could have a spirit filled revival once again. I am 29 years old and have grown up in Baptist churches my entire life. I am currently a member of First Baptist of Eugene, OR and wish we could feel this again.
@benjamin3731 I know exactly what you mean Bro. Today's worship services are nothing like the days of the past. Those oldtimers knew what is was to walk with God and trust Him for everything! Stay with the Lord, He'll never let you down my friend, I know because He has never let me down!
Any idea who the composers/authors of this hymn are?? Also, the son Someday that you posted earlier. I love both songs and thank you for putting them out here for us!! God bless!
The Church is Amity Hills Baptist Church in Asheboro,N.C. I believer Dr. Harold Parker was the pastor back then. I Love this song and the one called Someday!
@HymnTimeGospelSongs Very nice video, Bro. Wynn! But I can't seem to find Someday...did it get deleted? Also, do you have any other songs by the Amity Hills Baptist Church choir? These folks can really sing it!
Yes it is a great song and a super choir. I am so glad that it was a blessing. I had a preacher write me a long letter about how he was blessed by this song .I used to play it a lot when I was a DJ on radio.
You know I am just not sure , but it has been years .We did have one here in South Boston about ten years ago, it was a hot nigh and the funeral home fans came in handy. It was a great service the night I went.
I'd bet anything this was recorded at a church in North Carolina, it has that NC sound to it. This is the SOUTHERN way of church singing, particularly in the fundamental Baptist churches. It sounds beautiful to the ear AND the soul! Thanks for posting this, Bro. Wynn, and please post more of this church choir!
Thanks for sending this out bro. It's great to hear the shouting in the background. Enthusiasm, is needed, as long as we don't roll on the floor and start barking, or laughing, and making fools of ourselves.
We have a lot to be excited about when we consider our end.
Im saved by the Blood of Jesus .He has kept me all these years .Isay it im SAVED please if dont know Him u to can know the salvation ask Him to forgive u of ur sin and he will.
A story about this song , when I was on radio at WPET in Greensboro we had a preacher that after I played this osng on his program for the rest of his program which was 30 minutes he played this over and over and we had revial it set the pace for the rest of the day and several others also played this song . They also do a number on another song I plan to post soon called Someday.
I have been tryingot find the words and music to this song with no success. Do you have any idea where I could find them?

Yes that song had to be pulled do to some copyright problem. The owner of it did not wish for the world to be blessed I guess.
