This is cool, but it can estimate visible 3D surfaces from only one camera location - the 3D depth does not look quite right (I guess the depth is only qualitatively correct). I accidentally discovered this company Visualsize that can construct all kinds of 3D models - partial or complete - using photographs collected from random locations around a 3D object. They can do very realistic 3D faces models. The technology of Visualsize is really cool and I haven't seen anything like it.
