  • Let me just say: you made your biker sweeter... I really love what you have done so far to this bike... I just got my superglide 2011 made only 1400Miles only.. Its hot down here in Bahrain. To summe things up, you kind made me hate mine... And love in the same time, i would love to follow you and see where you get with yours so i can do things on my bike. I looking for a budget mufflers or pipes , i have to buy something that sounds good, not loud but deep, doesnt have to something to the engi

  • Hey Bro-

    Thanks again for the compliments!

I answered your question about the Cycle Shacks on the other video. The Cycle Shacks were, I believe, $184.95 plus install, but my HD dealer has a 25% off day once a month, so they really cost me like $140.00. I was completely satisfied with them as far as sound and "rumble" quality. I just now added the Vance & Hines Big Radius 2 into 2 pipes and a Kuryakin air cleaner, so stay tuned for an update vid this week!

  • Morning Ray thanks for the response. I am leaning toward the upfront seat like yours. The one thing I really dislike about the stock seat is its width. At 13 inches it messes up the finish on the top of the electrical panel and the battery cover. I just bought chrome covers for the electrical panel and the battery cover and dont want to screw up the finish on them. When you put the upfront seat on your bike, it looks lile a good portion of the electrical panel is visable......

  • Goodmorning HD Custom, nice job on your Dyna. I am going to go with the Le Pera Silhouette upfront like yours or possably the Le Pera Daytona Sports Seat. Was wondering if you could give me the riders seat width of your seat. Checked with Le Pera and they said 9 inches. Not sure where they took the measurement but that seems a little thin. Thanks for you time. 05Springer

    Hey Pan Shovel-

    Thanks for the compliment-

They are right. The seat is 9" wide at it's widest. I think the original factory seat was 13" wide at the same point. It fits me fine, but I have a pretty small rear end for my height. I have ridden 400 miles with it straight through on a break-in cruise up to Wisconsin and back, and it was okay. I think if you are looking for more comfort, perhaps the Daytona Sport might be better.

Let me know how it works out-

  • Hi there. Just bought the same bike but it's still in the shop. Having the Willie G Skull theme added and getting very similar bars. I also got the lay back plate holder and am having the SS pipes fitted. I am having the chrome bullet head light installed. I love the seat! How much did it cost? I'm 5'8" and have the forward controls so being closer to everthing would be much more comfortable. I want the 103 stag 1 later on. Can't want to pick it up and go for a run. Safe riding!

  • @Musashininja

The Seat was $650.00 with the design. We have had four days in a row of 50 degree weather, so I have been out on the bike every day this week. It is not as comfortable as the factory seat, but it was fine for a 300 mile ride this past Thursday.

Post a video when you pick up the new bike!

    Good riding-

  • The bike is amazing, I have been looking at the 2011 Custom. I have to say that seat really brought out the the chome and the lines of the bike. At first glance of the seat not affixed I had doubt, once that thing went on Bam! Just a question, that tank I have never seen offered anyway? Is that a stock tank for the 2011 Super Glide Custom

  • @racerx9191

    How's it going Bro-

That is the stock tank on the 2011 Super Glide. I had a local pinstripe artist put on the gold-leaf Harley Davidson script. I took off the original metal Harley medallions.

Thanks for the comments. Good luck with your Harley!

  • Thanks for the reponse and its great bike.

  • Hi there, may i ask where did you buy this bike also where xcan you get the parts ect. Thanks HOT 92.3

  • I bought the bike at Chi-Town Harley in Tinley Park, IL. All the parts except for the Le Pera seat were purchased at my dealer.

  • Dude, you're my hero! I bought a 2010 Super Glide this past August and have so much I want to do. Did you get everything done at once or over time? The seat looks great by the way! Lots of luck with the bike. Can't wait to hear the V&H. Are you goin' big shots or something else?

  • Hey Bro, thanks for the note-

I had everything done at one time, about 4 weeks after I bought the bike. I put a quick 2,000 miles on to break it in, and then it went back to the shop for install. I originally was looking at the V & H Straightshots, but the Big Radius 2 into 2 is looking cool, and completely different from anything I've done with any of my Harleys. Stay tuned, phase 2 parts are all purchased, and a new vid should be up in a couple weeks.

    Can't wait for %#cking spring!
