there are many things that scientists must take account for in these type of testings, a FEW being... 1) you must make sure that if the child had no previous testing, that the ape had no previous testing as well (if so another chimp should be used) 2)No matter Chimp or Child you must not "coax" it by putting the "reward" in the same place (you must mix it around)

addition to 2)if you stop the video at 40 before the tester even moved the "reward" the chimp new exactly which hole it would be under by pointing at it. this is not telepathy haha, this is evidence of repetitiveness. 3) the child should not be sitting on a lap or have a mother aswell as any other person in the room besides the tester & should be sitting in the center of the table in a chair

When I was 11 my english teacher showed my class a film where monkeys where strapped to a seat and driven at different speeds into a concrete wall to assess skull damage. Since then I have had no faith in humankind and such trivial tests comparing monkeys with little children just confirms how stupid humans are.

I saw videos of tests where they strapped chimps into seats, put helmets on them and dropped rocks on their heads. This was to test the effectiveness of helmets for lessening skull damage during motorbike accidents. Chimp skulls are evolved for falling from trees which is why old motorcycle helmets let you die.

That little girl is stupid. She got the first test wrong, but the chimp was hardly paying attention and he got it right.

If she were my daughter, I would remind her constantly how she can't even live up to the achievements of a chimp. Even at her young age, there is no excuse for that sort of stupidity.

I think the conclusion could have been stated within the first few sentences. The chimp in the first experiment wasn't paying strict attention to the hidden object, so I think something else is at play in it's being able to locate it. Perhaps a form of animal instinct which is more acute in animals for location and surroundings.
