Does anyone know of any more "up-to-date" videos? I'm sure this is a great video for a seasoned Dentist, but as a student I do not want to see him bend the needle and wiggle it all around in the tissue.You can tell his needle is deflecting like crazy and he's trying to compensate for it. That hurts. There are less painful versions I would like to see. I would fail my clinical board if I touched the needle before the min. point of penetration (gauze square) and if I bent my needle.

Gloves are more to protect the dentist then to protect the patient. In most cases if hand washing is performed correctly the practitioners hands are cleaner than the gloves they are wearing!
