let me ask you a question as a fellow electric violinist. Do like the FV-1 bc right now i have a cheap 200 dollar one that im happy with but do you think it would worth it to get that one. Btw please check out my channel and give me some feedback one my violin playing.
very nice cover, I love ur violin, I want to buy one on ebay, it is like 400 dollars, and its used, but like new... enyway, could you tell me if it is a good price, and how much it cost you that one, etc... please, Ill really apreciate that. thanks
heyyy i know like 50 thousand people have asked you this but could you please tell me where you get the music sheets from? thanks! and btw you sound amazingg grats
The Fender's a great instrument. Wish I had an acoustic amp... I'm playing on an ANCIENT pevey tube bass amp. The loop pedals are great. What bow are you using? I've got black carbon fiber coda classic bow. Looks AWESOME with the violin. I can't stand to use the bow they ship the instrument with.
Aha is that a sponge?! My old violin teacher (a nun) used to make us play our violins with sponges... Only when I got into high school did I ditch the sponge. xD
heck yea that's a sponge! my past teacher went to some clinic somewhere and they told her that if you use a shoulder rest, it restricts the sound of your instrument a bit. so she converted to the sponge and had me convert too. thanks for the comment!
hey, i have the same violin! i'm a string teacher but i use it in the rock band i play in. i love your looping technique. it reminds me of when i went to see final fantasy (owen pallett). i have a boss loop machine. is the one you have easier to switch between loops? anyway awesome job on the songs (i'm always a bit biased towards pop songs that have strings in it0.
You are a great violinist with an enormous potential in music. What kind of pedal are you using? is there a brand in particular that you may recommend?
I have a fender as well, and would like to know what'd be best to have ^^
I'm using a JamMan Looper Pedal. Would highly recommend it, very easy to use and understand. If you're getting it tho, it's essential to get the FX-35 (an extra $20 or so) that allows you to change loops on the fly. It's key. If you're looking for other pedals, I have a Fab Distortion from Danelctro. The whole Fab line-up are soooo cheap and not too shabby
love it, have had it for a few years now and had no problems to speak of. i did have a something rattling around inside, but took it to a guitar repair shop and was just a scrap of wood that must have gotten in during construction. i would definitely recommend putting some better strings on other than the ones that come with it though. happy playing!
did you get a new bow, i just got the fv1 yesterday, bought it for my birthday, havnt played violin in like 7-8 years, is it just me or does the fv1 not sound so good with stock equipment and out of a guitar amp?
oh yea, def get a new bow. i use the one from my acoustic most of the time, the one in the vid is a cheaper fiberglass one. and i haven't tried it out of a guitar amp, i use an acoustic guitar amp, makes the sound a bit cleaner i would think
Great job! It takes great skill to play the violin. I know...I tried. And it didnt really work but yeah you rock! BTW i knew you in the Las Madres lol, you probably dont remember me but my name's Michelle F.

Hello maestro, I love your work. ;-)
Are you using metal, synthetic or gut strings?
I am new to electric violin and am looking for some insight.
I have the same fender violin and am playing through my keyboard amp.
The sound is huge through a RLD KC-550 with 15'' speaker and an MXR analog delay / carbon copy. GNX4 with the jamman built in.
Thanks for the inspiration.
