  • you stiil need to put a break on that bike, coz of the enertia once you move that, specialy on high speed,,

  • .Pretty nice engineering going on there...I ride a 93" ..1946 HD, avon venom tires, but nothing as radical as this....I like the center hub steering. Are you seeing any kind of problems with DMV on the hydraulic steering..?

  • i like how different you went with this build nice

  • To the builder? What kind of power, RPM can pumps and motors like this take? I want to build a V8 motorcycle with an alloy block Rover 3500cc engine (stock land rover type engine) and have been thinking about how to deal with the tranny. Hydraulic would sound like a good idea. What about volume of fluid and the need for fluid cooling?

  • So that would be a hydrostatic transmission like a bobcat right?

  • your bike is impressive, you used rexrod pump, this pump is excellent to high performance, to see 26 gallons usses in linde´s pump, to high speed arounds 140 Km/h if the engine rotates 1750 Rpm, i´m only said great bike and sorry if i´m wrong

  • very impressive engineering, but i do agree with shawnsack, but its your design and thus far very impressive. i wish i had that kind of tallent and creativity and tools avalible to do such things.

  • I like it and all. but how r u going to make a shap right hand turn on the highway going 80 mph. your going to wreck with those steering cylinders out that far. you have to lean farther than that.

  • @Mr24Hacker I noticed that as well including snagging on just about everything. Perhaps a single bi-directional cylinder parallel to the tire with a half moon disc mounted to a plate & bearing. The half moon disk joined to the wheel axle. Perhaps even a cylinder and disc on each side of the tire.

  • i spy a wastegate, is this beast turbo'd!??!?

  • how much heat to you anticipate from that pump and hoses? do you have a cooler for the hydraulic fluid? Great looking bike and great video.

  • im not critisizing what you did cuz i admire your work but 2 questions... since ur going with hydro stat why not go 2 wheel drive? and why not mount your steering cylinders above the tire with a steering arm going down and around to the spindle to keep the width down... again i admire what you are doing and its a great job but i think the cylinders in there current location take away from the design of the bike and they would have just as much function with a cleaner look above the tire

  • @shawnsack ill crisize, your building it for nothing, mark my words ,you wont enjoy that ride at all,way oversized and its gonna tip way to easy, scrap it n save your life

  • Are you driving it yet?

  • So where is the latest video? is it still being worked on?

  • Dynamic braking is a little scary mid corner in the wet. cool project though.

  • Dynamic braking is a little scary mid corner in the wet. cool project though.

  • i like the drive system but have to ask about the hydro valve...if you need to hit the brake quickly what would keep you from dragging down the engine to?

  • i like the hydro drive concept but i think you should have made the suspension/steering better you should have used the tubeing as hydraulic lines for the rear drive & you are over thinking your steering zonky has a good point but i don't see whats wrong with the normal steering on any other bike

  • loser this bike whll never be done

  • Why two cylinders. Use one 2 way.

  • How do you think the 330 tires will do with deal on the front end? and just curious how much time has taken and how much money have u put into the chopper

  • it's probably gonna corner like an oiltanker with those rims, but who cares? i could sit there and just watch it for hours! awesome stuff dude

  • my god, are you a framo technician???? have you been working on ships or something??? this is such a great project

  • 1st question: did you ever finish it?

2nd question: Would it be posible to make it 2wd? :D

  • I too love the concept...but to keep those steering cyls closer bellcranks would have been my route....awesome job though....congrats

  • Dude. I am a sheet metal fabricator and a four year navy vet diesel mechanic. I just want to say you are cooler than jesus and this seems like an amazing idea and very good craftsmanship. keep it up i want to see it drive.

  • Just Wondering why you couldn't have the steering hydros mounted so they point straight forward so they aren't jutting out like that. Simple linkages or even a bellcrank could achieve it.

    Definitely sweet work.

  • Id like to stay informed on this

  • when when when is it done!!!!!!!!!

  • my husband and i agree that we need more young people such as yourself. he would also like to suggest that the steering ram be mounted in line with the front suspension and then would be cantilevered and an adjustable tie rod to keep alignment in check. this would also help to narrow front end width and also move the center of gravity inward. keep up the good work.

  • So what are you doing for radiators for the engine and the hydraulic system?Youll need a big forced air oil cooler for the drive system.

  • Which brand of diesel engine are you using? Can you change the wheel motor without cutting the tubing? It doesn't look like it will slip between the tubes if it needs to be worked on or replaced.

  • I am really impressed by your build! That motorcycle will be great when its finished.

Can´t wait to see more vids of it :D

  • Ivogts....great bike, but why didn't you use a crank and line up the steering slave cylinders with the wheel? They could even have been vertical.

    But good stuff.

  • This bike is going to be nothing short of amazing.

  • that bike is sick
