However, I think at the time I put this together, the S4 wasn't around. Additionally, the layout of the 1D works with exactly the controls I want - in a configuration that I want. Unfortunately, the 64bit drivers suck.
The S4 and X1 are both really set out for 2 channel operation, with the ability to go to the additional channels through control layers, not something I wanted to do. In addition, I really like the sound of the Empath.
can't this pretty much all be done with the s4 controller or would that be sacrilege in your opinion?
