I do mortgage audits now.I would make the banks prove they have posession of the deed and the note.If they do not have the original wet ink contract they can not collect on the house at all.That means they cant produce it because they sold it on the stock market already and is now a security.That leads to 7 tons of more trouble as well.But like I said if they cant produce the original wet ink contract they can not foreclose and must me in posession of the deed as well.
