Piccolo isn't any harder to play than a trumpet. I just thought I'd put that out there.. I can play both, so don't jump on me saying that I'm "biased".

Tuba is alright, but as far as I'm concerned that and horn are the only good brass instruments. @adayinothersshoes Piccolo is a lot harder than trombone or baritone. I don't play it, but it's very apparent. I like concert, jazz, and classical more so than marching, but thats a preference.
@7Jubal7 trombone is hard as fuck because its so easy to miss a position and be off on a note, a lot of feel in it. i guess it would be easier to play with jazz for improv

Is it as light as the silver plated anorexic looking piccolos, and will it slow me down or something strange like that?

Lol for all the people wondering. Non-plated piccolos are usually concert piccolos AKA they are wooden. Marching piccolos are made of silver and have a lip plate. Marching Piccolos are better for outside.

That was the shit! :D I play piccolo n flute n holy shit I can't play that song I tried n tried but didnt succeed :'( but I'm first chair now cuz that song had me working on my tone so now in the best in the skool other then the teacher of course

Lol for all the people wondering. Non-plated piccolos are usually concert piccolos AKA they are wooden. Marching piccolos are made of silver and have a lip plate. Marching Piccolos are better for outside.
