these ospreys are a disastor of a aircraft!!they cost 2 much have a very bad safeety record and are just unsafe.

@blizzardxc1 I'll give you one, they are pricey but the safety record, not so much. Compare it to other aircraft currently in service and their (other platforms) mishaps are significantly higher

seems as if it could easily roll over during landing or takeoff.

the huge angular momentum with the two turbine engines and the heavy rotors at the extremities - really make it look sluggish (esp. during landing) compared to a conventional helicopter.

I think it only has one (1!) gu and it's rear mounted.... Had to cut weight. So it's a sitting duck with no forward or side defenses.. I feel bad for Marines that have to fly this joke. And let's not forget the issues it has landing on sand or a loose soil base..
