jls sounded terrible every week on the show. Anyone can sound good on a cd but this guy has natural talent and soul. This audition is my all time favourite ever. Second would be leonas summertime. Its very rare you see simon react like that. BUt his comment/prediction is yet to come true really?

JayWalker, i see where you are coming from, pop stars are no more but i wasnt refering Austin as a pops star, Leona Lewis is no pops star if anything she is RnB/soul all i can say is if you was brought up in the pops days you will realise that rnb is basicaly pop but with more of a humph, which is also added with soul and dance by some artists at times, take neyo's song closer for example, he is a rnb star yet the song has a dance feel to it

I donno, while I totally adore his voice and absolutely dig his blues/rock/soul style I'm not so sure how many people like this kind of music too.
But on the other hand I for sure see him as a musician with a long career in a music business but not necessary as a pop star ;-).
