i moved to phx. years ago from the east,and i must admit i liked it at first,i was in love with the desert scenery.but between the type of ppl and number of them i grew tired of the area fast! plus there is no color there everything is brown!! i like color so i moved back to fl. alot of ppl love it out there,but its not for me.

@ScrewdUPClickV2 HOV lanes on I-10 in Phoenix go all the way from the 202/Pecos interchange in Chandler to the 101 in the west valley. It's legal to cross the white line (single or double) any time you want.

I just head for the 202 from my place and go on 101 from Warner and exit off on to 202 and it goes directly to the airport.

@IntuneGames thanks , yes Arizona wasnt kiddn . i counted appx 25 mobile speed trap units , sneaky things too there hiden around slight curves and areas with all of sudden its there. .. in a way im glad its down , because its a invasion of privacy . but yet i wish it would go back up . no1 need to be driving 11+ over the limit anyways

We have a lot of speed cameras here, especially around London and Birmingham but a lot have been turned off due to the high running costs :)

Phoenix has a surprisingly low profile skyline considering how big the metropolitan area is!

I lived in Phoenix back in the 70s when all they had was the I-17 Black Canyon Freeway, the I-10 Maricopa Freeway, and the AZ360 (now US 60) Superstition Freeway. The closest thing to a stack was the 17/10 interchange (then signed as Buckeye Rd and since rebuilt) near the airport. Much better now!

Dude, I'm just going to be blunt with you and say that this is fucking awesome. The music is kickass and the scenery is sick. I-10 through Phoenix is easily one of my favorite stretches of urban interstate in the US. Adding this to favorites for sure!

@ScrewdUPClickV2 The mountain in the curve is called Bell Butte, and it has a water tank on its west side. Coming from the east, the butte resembles a cowbell.

@KLTolliver well i passed through and my car said the temp was 101 .. north of the city after i was leaving i stoped and filled my gas . it read 100 degrees , but felt like my , or where i live Texas lower to mid 80s lol .. temps are high yes . but no hummidity . it is easy tolerable
