I didn't know he was British, until I seen his first House interview on Ellen. I never paid attention to the various roles he played before, like the dad in Stuart Little and in the newest movie HOP. He plays the dad. I flailed my arse off when I heard his British accent. From there I watched all the seasons of Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, Blackadder, Blackadder's: Christmas Carol (I advise everyone to start with that one, it's freaking great! Now I can just point out his voice anywhere.

Well this is a sample (at Laurie's career) about what was coming (house md). Think about it. Why does laurie play the doctor at this sketch? Laurie's skills at that kind of acts (you know doctors & etc.) were shown from even that time. That's why House makes that succes
