  • Nice programming. What method did you use to create the terrain? I'm trying to create some shadows to be casted on the ground but I'm having bad luck. I used setWorldGeometry. I'm thinking of trying to build it with TerrainGroup.

  • how long are you earning ogre :D?? In c++ i writed simple calc but i don't know how it will be useful in ogre coding... I want to just render a model in Cel Shading mode in ogre and all the scene... Please contact me

  • You can do cel shading within a modeling/rendering program like Blender... Ogre3d isn't needed.

  • Learn C++ first. I mean, either buy a book or take a class. Ogre is built on top of it. Think of it like this - you can't learn to ride a motorcycle without learning to ride a bike first.

  • hey.. I can't get Ogre running too.. I'm using VC++, and there are hardly any tutorials how to set it up.. The Manual is too complicated for me..

  • If you are still having problems, message me. There are some tutorials out there that teach you how to set it up.

  • Do you know any programming language? If you dont then forget about ogre3d.

    If you are looking for something like blender3d, then you are confused and ogre3d is a completely different thing.

    Blender is a graphics modelling tool and used for other similar things.

    Ogre3d is a graphics engine.

    Although blender has the ability to make games as well, I'm not sure how that works.
