Well,

First of all he was not a real vampire because when he jumped into the coffin the candles were supposed to light up and kaitlin you have to have nightlife pack and then you go to one of the nightclubs and you might find a girl who you can tell is a vampire because she has really light coloured skin and then you have to fall in love with her......

No, Just he. He always was a vampire, and then he knows the girl, that is a normal girl, in a club at night.

He can stay at the human form, but actually he is the creature with sharp theeth and a strange blue color. In the end, he transform the girl, cause it's the better and simple way for them to stay together.
