    It's definetly not overpowered, I checked to that myself.

  • He's saying it looks crappy when the sprite is moving, but great when it attacks. So the attack looks to good for the movement of the sprite.

  • Very cool! You should make a MP bar for special attacks or something. That'd make it a bit more interesting.

    In the, "Animation End," event of Wil, you create an instance of a moving object (ie, the arrow) and set the direction, speed and such. Not too hard, but once you mess around with placing where things like this go, it's easier.

  • Nup. Sorry. No MP bars. There aren't any in the original fire emblems, so none here. Although, there's something like the MP bars, the ultimate techniques in later videos. Check them out.

  • yeah but if u use animation end i have an animation for running so the arrow will come out when the anmation for running is over

  • Then put it in the animation with your character firing his or her item. I'm not quite sure why you'd put it in the running animation.

  • you cant choose an animation it does the action after every animation as you can see he has no running animations thus the only animation it chooses is the only one, the firing one.

  • Actually, you can choose every animation it does after the animation is done.

    Say it was some thing like this, when you hit, say, the spacebar, it'll change the normal Will sprite to the firing one, and then, in the Animation End event for the firing animation, you then choose to create the arrow at whatever coordinates you give it.

  • yes but animation end cannot go inside of a trigger like button press space and if it goes outside it applies to all animations ALL ANIMATIONS there is no way to choose an animation and this is why if you have a man who actually moves when he runs, like an animation for running, and another for after ou press space it makes the event happen after every animation, running and firing

    Or something like that in the animation end.

  • Well, first off, of course you can't put the Animation End event in the spacebar event. If you choose animation end it does NOT affect all of the sprites. Just the one you've chosen for the object in use.

    If I had a HyperCam, I'd show you. Until then, think about it logically.

    It does NOT. AFFECT. EVERY. ANIMATION.

  • of course it only affects one object, but one object as in the main character can have a huge amount of sprites. and if u put animation end then it will affect ALL SPRITES IN THE SINGLE OBJECT, AS IN A RUNNING ANIMATED SPRITE AND A SHOOTING ANIMATED SPRITE. the only one who made any sense was spuntile, u just think ur making sense.

  • Yes, but I'm not backing down out of an argument.

    And yes, you can splite sprite animations. Select the sprites your trying to keep from the main string of animations, copy, delete them, create a new sprite file, paste. I know what I'm talking about.
