I know that Newfoundland and Labrador is one province , but how do you rhyme all that into this song . The song is great as is . Cory and Trina played at our Flat Island Reunion (BONAVISTA BAY, NL) in 1992 and they were great .

Well, the song was written by a man who lived in Labrador for 10 years then moved back to the island portion of the province, so to think poorly of either part of this province sorta slams the songwriter. I personally grew up as a child in Labrador and spent the rest of my life on the island. To me the province is comprised of both parts, I do not think either is separate. It's all one province. I find the whole Labrador is one entity thing silly imo.
