Crossbite - Front View

I went to the orthodontist today and she says your daughter has a cross bite to my mom and i am wondering what is a cross bite and well i am in need of braces for 2YEARS which shocked me i wanted braces but for so long no but i do want straight teeth oh well sigh

but i don think u neccerly have to have them on for that long it depends on how fast ya teeth make progresss...

its a right bummer because im in my second to last year of school soo i'll have braces for the prom & the start of college ....

But atleast i'll have staright teeth i guess

my hole mouth is a crossbite

most peoples front teeth go over the bottom! my bottom teeth come up over my top teeth and my mouth looks nothing like this!

@homesizzle08 That is how i was born as well. I wore a device called a "Frankle" for 8 years which corrected the crossbite. Not sure if it could work for you but might be worth looking into.

I have almost the same problem except the top teeth that are behind the bottom teeth are the eye teeth....think i would still be a canidate?
