I don't give a fuck about how you weren't asking me. Anyway, that's obviously an issue with your headphone jack if only one bud is audible when plugged in. Either the headphone jack, or your logic board. And also, the mic on top is the noise-cancelling microphone. The one on the bottom is the main microphone and used for calling numbers.

Thanks for making this video. I watched until the end but was very disappointed that there was no video of the actual digitizer being removed. Still, well done, you're much more confident at pulling out screws and cables than I'd be.

A couple tips, there's no word "adhesed" in English. The PP of that verb is "adhered." Also I thought I heard "abrased" at one point. The verb corresponding to abrasive is "abrade," so the PP is "abraded."

I am trying to do a conversion of black into white since I dropped my iPhone 4s. Unforgettably the front screen touch sensor or what ever stop working ever since I replace it with a new one.

I then took the new screen out and put the cracked one back on and it's not working also when it did before I took it out.

I'd retrace my step and everything work except for the touch screen, can't seem to figure out why the screen not reading any touch for entering pw, or slide for unlock.

@Modded25 There is only one model of iPhone 4S. It houses a dual GSM/CDMA chip whereas the iPhone 4 had two separate models. Ergo, all iPhone 4S, be it Verizon or any other, will have a SIM tray.

Another helpful tip. If you dont have a magnetized screwdriver, you can just rub a magnet on the tip of your screwdriver for a couple of seconds and it will make it magnetized for a little bit. It can save your life so you don't drop any screws when taking out/putting them in.

Quinn, nice tutorial. One point though, the six screws on the sides ( the ones with the washers) only need to be loosened, not removed. Hat way you don't have to keep track of the washers and it saves you some trouble re-assembling the iPhone.
