The only car that gave the first E types Jaguars a run for their money In racing. The E Type was lighter and the mighty XK gave a lot more torque. Against the 3 litre V12 It sounds nice but give me a straight 6 anyday
My collection of Ferraris would involve a 250GTE for everyday use (possibly upgraded using 575 mechanicals and suspension), a 275GTB for the weekends and, ideally, a P3-engined 250LM (4 litres, 450bhp) for the track. I'll take a stock 250LM if I have to ;-)
For some reason I've never really lusted after the 250GTO.
My Dad use to work for David Mackay,he drove it down McCarrs creek Rd at midinght with David(A fantastic public winding road ,the car was road registered)must have been a fantastic experience.
I saw the old red lady do a demonstration at a tribute to Jaguar day at Amaroo Park 1984,can still recall that aggresive snarl.
u just can feel the passion that went into building the old Ferraries......Enzo just knew how to make a car......i think this is one of the best cars ever built if not the best...i hope to see more videos........ahh..........i have the Ferrari side emblem tattood on my heart.....all the best wishes.....take good care of the car ;) <3
I drove it once and spun it. I came back in and handed over to the professional and he did the same, albeit with more grace! It turns out the fuel tanks were overfilled and petrol was slopping out in front of the rear wheels. Just as well nobody wanted a cigarette...More videos coming soon.
The tanks were full and you had 200 pounds of extra people in a 1900 pound car. I can't wait to see the light weight version. Thanks again for the post
It looks like Dijon-Prenois to me, especially the alternate circuit uphill, cutting out the Parabolique portion of the circuit
—nice car!

What's up with the lack of speed? I mean c'mon it sounds like you're stuck in first gear and you're afraid to shift or something...

It probably has de worst passenger seat, since it make's you wanna kill the driver because of jalousie. Wich eventually will cause the car to crash
