This is so cool thank you for posting this classic stuff. Great for me as well as I grew up on Stampede Wrestling in Canada.
Not long after this Wayne Ferris, Danny Davis and Ken Wayne all went up to Stampede off and on for a couple of years. The Nightmares were together up there under the name the Tennessee Studs. Danny Davis stuck around for a while afterwards as a singles wrestler.
Been nearly 30 years and Dave Brown hasn't aged a bit. Heck, Lance Russel hasn't that much. If Lance went to a cosmetic surgeon he wouldn't "look good for his age" he'd look younger than he did here. Must be something in that Mississippi River water.
Yes, Lance Russell is alive and well living in Florida. He is 82 yrs. old and voice sounds the same. Now and then he'll come back to Memphis for a memorial show and he's always a star here.
It's funny to hear Honky talk about how he doesn't like Jerry Jarrett booking him in places he doesn't want to go. Sounds like a hint of reality in that, knowing his long standing problems with promoters.
I can remember going to see a show at a local high school back in the early 90's. The heels and faces dressed in seperate locker rooms but were side by side in view of the stands and the ring. They played some guy's entrance music and I just happened to look over atthe locker rooms and Larry Latham aka Moondog Spot at the time, was standing in the door dancing in his underwear chewing a bone
I didn't know santa claus wrestled on a tag team.

@Soulgrenade The sound of that old rasslin' bell was music to our ears back then...

@arkansoul
They really knew how to put on a show back then and you got to watch the younger guys coming up through the ranks and earning there payday.
Soulgrenade 11 months ago
@Soulgrenade Back then, you had guys who loved rasslin'. Of course they needed the money, but the sport came first. Great action...
