The BEST gel that ANY black female with coarse hair can use to keep it straight (when brushed with a hard natural bristle brush) is..... 'iGel' (the green herbal one) [From the UK]. People think my hair is always smooth & silky Bcos of it, when it it really thick & tex-laxed really. It works great for keeping 'crimped' style too if you keep your hair plaited with it (for at least 30mins, preferably overnight - and it lasts for up to a week.) It does not flake and is easy to comb out too!!

To me I find that the " OLIVE OIL WIG SPRAY " works wonders on synthetic wigs :it's formulated with 100% pure olive oil extrac to me it works real good it doesn't weigh the hair down plus it detangles the wig and it gives it that fresh wet look . to me it doen't feel oily unless you use too much. and i don't believe in putting a wig in hot boiling water.so give it a try and could someone post how they liked it. This used to be one of my absolute favorite half wigs of all time. I wear full wigs now but this is one of the more natural looking curly half wigs. People thought it was my hair. My only issue is that I don't like the synthetics. Too tangly and hard to manage. I never got the hang of maintaining synthetic hair :-(

I've been looking for a wig to wear to Florida for a while. It's more than likely going to get wet while i'm there ( I may even go under water for a swim).
