Bob Brady and the ConChords were GODS in the D.C. area in the mid-to-late 60's. This was the biggest of their radio hits. Somewhere out in the Maryland suburbs my band shared a stage with them for a show at a rec center in the late 60's. They were the big-time act and we were the "little guys" but they treated us nicely and we had a great evening. Lost my 45 of this years ago, thanks for posting!
My sister and I saw the Conchords at Flying Point Park in the mid 60's. They ere a Baltimore band and we were from Rosedale. We saw them in Edgewood. I hope someone else who saw the band from that area comments. I am so glad this song is on you tube. Thank you for posting this! What a pleasure to hear it again.
