From about 1.04 is the drummer Terry Smart who was replaced by Tony Meehan in late 1958? Judging by the instruments the photo is probably of that time. Anybody know? Thanks for posting.
Very funny : This song was translated into french and the meaning was totally lost : imagine : "I'm gonna move" is translated " en avant l'amour " !!! It was sung I think by Dick Rivers, a rather good french singer from "Les chats sauvages". Cliff & The Shadows are much better ! Simply the best ! Great thanks !
yep next to elvis.but around 61 62 cliff came in to his own when he stop,d trying to be elvis.if you look at some of the photo,s to the slide shows?cliff was every bit as good looking as elvis and just as a good singer to. i would have loved to see both of them on stage,, like frank and elvis doing duet.. now wouldnt that be a gig.. may be one day when we get to heaven ask theman up stairs to hook them up.
Believe it or not I think it can be done with the technology of today. Take a look at "Elvis and Celine Dion" on "You Tube"! Unbelievable!! Also, the BBC did a programme last year of stars of today singing with stars who had died. You would think they were standing next to each other and both alive. Incredible!!

Fantastique , jamais égalé, THE SHADOWS avec Hank et sa fender strato...
Quand je pense aux misérables "hardrockiens", ils doivent faire de gros complexes..
