When someone makes a comment about the cops' obvious brutality, grandstanding, and womanish hysterical over-reaction to ANY situation, the cops, without fail, will remind the commenter to "just wait until you need help!"

Don't know about cops being trained to think of citizens as terrorists. Probably more accurate to say that they're trained to enforce the law. I don't think that there's much controversy over cops arresting a hardened criminal (e.g. murderer). At least I hope there isn't. It's the fact that the internet has opened the doors to evidence that cops often overstep the bounds of their authority and harass/arrest/taze even the wrong people for the wrong reasons.

its there job to be there when were in danger, or need assistance with something. IT shouldnt be there job to rake in money with petty tickets that just piss people off.
SWAT units allow police officers to pretend they're actually soldiers in a real war instead of public servants. And terrorizing unarmed citizens is easier than fighting an enemy that might possibly return fire. No wonder departments tend to utilise these raids at the drop of a hat; it's great for gang morale, and it "sends a message." Such bravery.
SWAT officers are regular police officers until they get a page then the go to the scene and put on there gear to do what they are trained to do..... now if you were going a a raid of such and you had more gear in your trunk wouldnt you put it on if you were working that night? commen sence to me.... get ur facts straight
